How do you get a birthday message read out at the KP?

Does anyone know who to get in touch with if you want to add a birthday message to the round of messages that go on the big screen before the game?

Why any grown up would want their birthday read out at the football to thousands of strangers is beyond me though.

Is “Birthday Message” code for “Brendan Out”?

If you didnt want to pay to get message read out you can have messages put in the programme this year free. Just email the club.

I have no friends or family so see my fellow leicester city supporters as my family. So on my 40th birthday I had a birthday message read out and my Leicester city family sang me happy birthday it was very special.

Yea I now think this if they’re going to charge £15. No way I’m doing that.

 

Its a biggish birthday and I’ve been struggling to come up with presents and other things to do!

I remember Boxing Day in the championship my dad wondering up to the stadium announcer before the match to get a message read out for a family member over from New Zealand. No cost, other than walking to the back row of the KP 🤣. Everything costs nowadays!

I called about this a few weeks ago and was told that getting the birthday announced and displayed at half time was not guaranteed but would be done 20-30 mins before kick off
