Imagine the sell on clause.

If we pay the buy out clause there wouldn’t be one. Unless we can agree a much lower fee with a sell on clause.

After this summer and the lack of explanations about our finances, I think a lot of us don't have any trust that Rudkin and co. will go out and spend any of the Fofana money, let alone £30mil+, but we'll see.

Well they can expect Championship Football next season then.

That’s an interesting take on buy out clauses that are reasonably set

we can save money now and potentially lose later. The selling club have the opposite situation, I suppose it depends how desperate they are for money in their accounts and whether they like a gamble.

i think you’d need the sell on clause to be the whole fee and not the profit element to make it attractive to the seller.

Villa apparently interested in him now that Leicester seem less likely to get him

I doubt Gerard will get much backing for transfers ahead of his imminent sacking

Mings has his critics but if Villa sign a centre back we could do a lot worse than bringing him in on loan

I think we could do a lot better given the wages he’d demand

He’s a donkey and only in the PL as a left footed CB.

Imagine from thinking of getting Lacroix who appears to be the closest to the Fofana mould and bringing in Mings 🙈

They seem to going for all our targets........gutted if he goes there......he going to like Saliba at Arsenal

You do realise we don't actually have any targets don't you? People talking about players on the transfer forum doesn't make them targets, sadly.

There is a lot to fume at , getting to be too much. Something is going on here we have not been informed of, and its wrecking the club.

This guy is good and potential mustard. Should be going for him no matter what. Will be worth £60 million plus in 18 months time. Like giving money away. Damnit our club are infuriating at the minute.

Clubs making signings is wrecking our club lol

We won't sign everyone we're linked with. People perhaps need to get a bit more reality around the situation. We're not going to be like Forest and sign 20 players. We don't have the wage flexibility to do so because of who's currently at the club.

This won't be the first 'target' we miss out on, and won't be the last.

We have no targets. I would imagine we couldn’t afford him anyway, we don’t have the money or the nous of a team like Southampton. 😂
