It does seems over a number of years now that the “normal” seasons pattern has started to shift out by a month, as in “summer” runs further into “autumn” and “winter” into “spring” .

There’s more chance of getting snow in April smack in the middle of “spring” than in the “normal” winter months, equally September being hotter than august.

And to add to this, the entire "bell curve" of expected/recorded temperatures by month will move towards the hotter end of the spectrum as global average temperatures rise. Which will have a variety of (mostly negative) effects.

The temperature has dropped quite rapidly over the last couple of days absolutely freezing tonight.

I’ve told her the heating isn’t going on until October but Friday could be testing, as it’s supposed to be 3C first thing in the morning. Next week 20/21C by the looks of it

Out heating automatically came on for the first time this morning! Fiddled with the settings so I’ll just be cold until October.

I was only saying the other day with how much the temperature is changing day to day that no wonder people are getting ill.

I've had my previous injuries and weaknesses flare up this week due to the constant change. It feels like early winter today. Madness.

Honestly would just prefer winter to kick in now as seen it's meant to apparently be sunny and about 20 degrees this time next week. The constant change in weather is annoying, though I do prefer the colder weather in fairness.

Just said on the news that we’re going to have the wettest autumn since forever.

It was 8.5 degrees outside this morning, forecast for next week is potentially in the 20’s…

I literally feel it in my bones. I know when it’s cold because my knees and joints start seizing up.

Think the quicker the cold weather the better cause at least you know it's gonna be cold. Whereas summer it can be 30 degrees one day to raining the next day.
