Stadt Posted 6 September 2022 Share Posted 6 September 2022 (edited) With Glover in his role, 6 months remaining on a third of players' deals and various holes in the squad - we should be active in the winter window for once. We should be aggressively targeting loans, even at this stage, the financial situation isn't likely to improve meaningfully so we have to leverage low fee and low(wish) wage signings. Some potential (some aren't that realistic) options: Faivre Cherki Ziyech Saelemaekers Reiss Nelson Chuekwueze Adama Traore Edited 6 September 2022 by Stadt 3

However a new manager and a decent run could change that. If this situation drags on however it will be nearly impossible to attract the sort of player we need.

That's the most encouraging thing about Glover's track record. Foden, Sancho, Tomori, Abraham, Colwill, James, Broja, Lavia, Livramento type players are kicking about at the the elite academies - we can provide a pathway they can't.

We need a RW, it doesn't matter if they aren't amazing (e.g Traore) - we need a body there.
