It was an okay debut, a decent tackle and couple nice touches here and there but he wasnt exactly towering or commanding. For reference Evans was a 1. 1 1
Chelmofox Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 (edited) If Brendan goes now at least he won't ruin him. A real chance for Wout at this club with some proper coaching behind him. Edited 17 September 2022 by Chelmofox 4

Especially the first few. We virtually had no midfield for the rest. Could have even had an assist after he drove forward but Daka failed.
TrickyTrevLeftPeg Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Decent start then didn't close people down quick enough and let them shoot. Had no midfield in front of him but conceded 6 on debut isn't a great start for him
Tuna Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 He looks a good signing, decent debut unfair on him to be on a team conceding 6 goals. 1
Popular Post adam Posted 17 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 17 September 2022 Yes he was great today. We looked solid with him in the back line. 1 6
BigGibbo Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Yes. If we get a new manager now before Brendan ruins him he might be the one defender that survives until next season. 👊

I can see where you are coming from but as part of a collective he was part of a defence that conceded 6 goals. He might not have been individually at fault but on the flip side he didnt really do anything individually to stop us from conceding either. I’m not saying he’s a bad player his debut individually was okay and didnt look out of place at this level but lets not get over excited because he shown a little bit of aggression in a 6-2 loss. 1
TMELcfc Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Hard to judge him with this t*** in charge. Seemed decent enough, just need Rodgers out and start again… step 1, defend as a team

Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Looked good for an hour or more and is promising. But he struggled after that, unsurprisingly as the shit show around him unravelled. Will be a good signing in a decent set up. 1
Popular Post MPH Posted 17 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 17 September 2022 (edited) Showed heart, aggression and commitment in the tackle. We’re not used to players showing that in the last 12 months so that’s why people are saying he’s had a good game despite the 6-2 result. Edited 17 September 2022 by MPH 5 1
Filbert Fireworks Posted 17 September 2022 Author Posted 17 September 2022 It could be a different story if it was his debut today with Kasper behind him. 1

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 (edited) Clearly a good player. I felt much calmer with him in the back line until everyone around him hit the ‘shit your pants’ button again Edited 17 September 2022 by Wasyls Pec Deck 1
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 How can anyone be saying he’s a good player on the same night we’ve shipped 6 goals and it could have been more? FT at its finest again

Shane Posted 17 September 2022 Posted 17 September 2022 Our saviour this season will be Soyuncu after a new manager gives him some confidence 1
