Too right. Dunno why Brits have this whole thing about not putting on heating during certain months. Bloody freezing today.

Mrs P objected purely on the basis that it's June. I said so, if it was 16deg in  February you'd want the heating on? If it's cold, it's cold.

But 16 degrees in Feb wouldn't feel cold, you'd be feeling quite summery, especially if it had been in mid single figures the day before.

How we feel about temperature is all relative.

It hadn't occurred to me that it was cold enough for the heating thermostat to kick in, it has and I'm not even there. As it's June I didn't think to put holiday mode on. Thanks to you resurrecting this thread, holiday mode is on. Cheers.

And now your thermostat is lounging by the pool drinking pina coladas.

It's been some swing in temperature!

2 weeks ago I was wearing a jacket outside. Now if I could, I'd be shopping in just my pants.

I've stopped aiming the AC squarely at my balls so that's the first step but I'm not there yet.

How small is your AC? :P

Well, our heating hasn't gone on yet but I would suggest we'll be one of the first.

Watching TV yesterday evening, Mrs. FFF said she was cold so went into our bedroom and put her dressing gown on over her clothes.

I only put the fan away 4 days ago.....

we won't touch the heating until at least mid-November, then only in the morning and in the bathrooms so towels don't go damp, when WFH we will use heated blankets
