Banners about Brendan / the board? STAGGERING

‘No one wants to see them’ was all we got.

Would love the club to explain that, pathetic and sums up how this club has changed in its culture and how its ran by those entrusted to do so. Grim

What are they doing, I noticed a lot around the sing area during the Leeds game.

I’m in P1 and the stewards told the fans on the very back row to sit down. They are the back row - no-one behind them.  I get it in the middle of the stand and people behind wanting to sit.

The stewards have also started circling the home dugout.

I make that two parts of the ground now where the stewards / security staff are breaking the ground regs by standing on stairwells

Haaland and Cancelo 'doubts' for this game.

Just need KDB to pick up a knock from a robust Rodri challenge in training and then we may have a chance lol

Yeah I'm still putting Haaland as captain. He'll come on for 20 minutes to 'build his fitness' and score 4 goals.

I don't think many will realise how awful this actually is.  We are literally at a point where you can't say what you think, despite it not being even remotely offensive to anybody. You can guarantee this is coming from high up too. That one at Palace has definitely stirred the board's soup, and not in a good way.

It's enough to make me consider not going. It would be very difficult to stop supporting my team, you can't turn shit like that off in your heart but when you actually take a step back and consider the bigger picture on this it's disgraceful. But nobody is allowed to criticise or question our club (owners/board). Hideous

I mean. That’s just a baseless accusation. Other players have taken penalties for ManCity when he’s been on the pitch. We eventually ditched him as our penalty taker in favour of Vardy.

Inventing a contract stipulation so that you can attack him and call said figment of your own imagination “bizarre really” is weird as ****.

Not as weird as your desperate attempts to defend your little prince. Bless. Why would pep place a player who consistently messes penalties up on pens if he has so many other options. But yeah it's weird to express an opinion. "I mean"....😂😂

Not good, sorry to hear that.

The club should be looking to help make the singing section a massive success.

Is this true about the stewards in our stadium? I've heard the same things happening (in their stadiums) from Palace, Villa and Southampton fans I know. Is there some kind of agenda to have more authoritarian measures and oppress people's opinions in football stadiums also?

It’s just a reflection of what is going on in the wider world. We are being clamped down on at every turn. Still, can’t imagine anyone will do anything about it. Apparently you can get an electronic tag now just for protesting, before you’ve even been to court. Nice.

Sad to hear it makes you feel like that. All part of the atmosphere erosion I suppose.

I’ve not seen any heavy handedness personally but I’m in P1 which is fairly “low risk”. What I thought was really weird at both Forest and Leeds when you’ve got all the stewards going to the front of the home stands and none in front of the away end. What are they expecting to happen?

If folk want to bring banners or voice their opinions they should be allowed to. Seems like printed T-shirts is the way ahead.

Never really get tanned off Man City at our places. Apparently not huge fans of playing here.

Won't matter like because unless they have a seriously bad day. They will keep the ball and it's like a slow death.

Past league games at KP have been:-

2021/22: 1-0 Bernando Silva - fortunate winner

2020/21: 2-0 Man City - two second half goals, Amartey wallops KDB

2019/20: 1-0 Man City - late Jesus winner

2018/19: 2-1 Leicester - the peak of Puel

2017/18: 2-0 Man City

That 2017 game could've been different had Kompany been sent off early as he should have. The 1-0 Jesus defeat was scandalous when we were denied two penalties and lost Iheanacho after he was clattered by Ederson.

Not a slight on you Stan as i was drawn in by this at first, but it's complete false news before anyone gets their hopes up. If you actually go to the @ spbajko he's tweeted nothing of the sort so no idea where they've pulled that from.

Ha, neither could Leicester City Xtra clearly. Shows the problem with modern 'news' sources...

“Three things. [Firstly], I saw him so tired. The second one he had a little bit influenza in his body, like Joao, Joao played with a fever. The third, he had a knock in his feet. That is why he was not able to play in the second half.

“I don’t know right now [about the severity of the injury]. I spoke [with the medical team] at half-time, they were a little bit concerned but I saw him walking more or less quite good at the end. We will see what happens.” – Pep Guardiola on Erling Haaland

Probably won't start doubt they will risk him others could be rested as well by the sounds of it.

I’m not going to celebrate even if he doesn’t start, in fact there’s part of me hopes he does start. That Julian Alvarez looks a really good player and he’ll come in and be desperate to make an impression.

Yeah he did say those things post match. But there was nothing about being assessed by the medical team this morning and nothing concrete on him playing whatsoever. Guardiola always plays these games in his pressers, plus if thr fever wasn't enough to keep him and Cancelo out last night I'm sure it won't at the weekend either.
