It’s fairly obvious. In terms of us winning of course we’d rather him not play. However if you could chose any result you want then beating them WITH Haaland playing would be best. The internet is funny isn’t it. Lots of people arguing with people they don’t know for no reason.

Will we be seeing Pep with his arm around Faes at full time whispering sweet nothings into his ear 'ole?

No.

They can't afford to take the foot off the gas as they are not running away with the league. So i think they'll want their best X1 on the pitch.

Cancelo is the main man for me, if they have Ake at left back they are massively weakened in shifting the ball quickly.

Haaland won't be kept back from breaking the golden boot record before halfway through the season, so i reckon he's go a hattrick v us on his list.

If he plays he gets it IMO. We will play too open and have given up lots of chances even in big victories of late. If Diego Costa had three or four shots on target v us then i'm pretty certain Haaland will get more....

Hopeful we play smart and change things up a bit despite recent success. Imagine we will go 4231 and get destroyed though.

Even without Haaland, we ain’t winning by 2 goals

Five minutes after the KO Faes says to Haaland that he needs to quit football and do a casting for a role in the next Terminator film. Haaland pulls him by the hair and receives a red card. A few minutes later Cancelo slips on Vardy's empty Red Bull can and angrily throws it at our bench hitting Perez on the head. Red card.

Easy 2-0 win.

We couldn't get a point against ten man chelsea - we aren't beating 9 man man city!

He's obviously playing now

Not sure if it's me or Brendan's that out of kilter but I'd be thrilled to go through my Leicester supporting career and never see that b*gger play against us.

I appreciate I've not be watching avidly his development for years or want to pit myself against the best this league has to offer ........ blah blah nonsense BS

You're absolutely right. Now I'll have to rewrite my totally realistic scenario. At least Haaland is playing, more chances my scenario comes true.

Seriously now, if you attend the game tomorrow and this happens: 3-3, both Vardy and Haaland hat-tricks. I know it sounds crazy but you never know. A lifetime experience of 2 of the greatest strikers performing in front of your eyes. One of them (Haaland) possibly the best the game has seen.

Just enjoy it.

Far be it for me to defend Rodgers but seriously, most managers would say the same thing.  And then go home and stick pins in a Haaland doll.

Not sure how you can stick pins in that?!

mmmm .......... Hand round what you're smoking

I'd be much happier for that b*gger not to play and us win with a 3-0 Vardy hat trick

Regardless of how he words it or dresses it up he had 3 options. "I'd rather not play against Haaland", "I'd rather play against Haaland" or dodge the question and just talk about his talent.

To be asked that and answer that way just strikes me as someone who's completely safe and has no cares about the job in hand. He sounded absolutely buzzing to watch the lad play lol

I've triple captained him as I think he'll get a bucket load based on how we've been playing. Bring on the the Norweigian goal machine I say, I hope he takes the little smirk off Brendan's face.

.... And for us to lose l suppose?

Strange that you call yourself Filbertway and are clearly not a (Leicester) city fan.

But you clearly have a good imagination and no difficulty in ascribing the worst possible motives to a totally innocuous and honest answer.

Personally l watch football to see the best players in the world, l hope he plays and l hope we win this and every game 10 - 0... Even if it makes Rodgers smirk 24/7!

Ffs hating Rodgers so all consuming to some people that they want us to lose just to spite him!

You've hit the nail on the head with me to be fair mate lol

That's literally where I'm at. My disgust and dislike of Rodgers eclipses my love of Leicester, it must do for me to be so apathetic.

I make every effort to try and watch every game and continue to take a massive interest in the clubs operations, from academy upto the commercials. Yet I'd happily see loss after loss to spite Rodgers and hopefully have him removed, if only so I could start genuinely feeling emotion for games again.

It's like the opposite of when I was appreciative of the work Puel was doing for the club. Transforming us from a glorified Rugby team with no tactical direction and a bunch of old timers to a young exciting team capable of achieving massive things. Everyone hated him because we played the same football we've mainly played under Rodgers, Vardy wasn't noshing him off and he had a French accent.

Now nearly 4 years into Rodgers tenure. We're in a worse position, resources stretched, on the cusp of losing two of our best players and heading towards a lot of uncertainty. I've got no appreciation for a man who has basically done similar to Peter Taylor, but with a much higher starting bar.

Anyway, me and Brendan have one thing in common at least. We're both buzzing to see a fit Haaland at this best :D
