We are very predictable this season..

VS 1st Ars L big

3rd Spurs L big

5th Che L

6th United L

9th Brighton L big

10 Brentford D

12th CP D

13th Bournemouth L

15th Soton L

18th Leeds W

19th Wolves W big

20th Forest W big

Ok predict the next 10 games...

If we are predictable then why act surprised when we lose, & win...

I go out to enjoy my football,I believe

we get a result everygame. Xgs,nor other stats play a role in my thinking.

Football like all sports 'after' the event has a sort of predictability. Stats can prove little, but interesting to see,but don't sway my thoughts...

Next week,my brain sees a 1-5 hammering...my football heart & spirit

dreams of a 4-2  shock& suprise....

But whatever the result this for me is a freeby & the season will have its  twists & turns. If we get results from the bottom 12 teams, that gives us anything from 24pts to 60+pts,according to how they fall in this given season.plus all teams will lose the odd 1-3 players through injury...

Unlike an high % of FT fans I don't believe any opposition is crap, dross,or rubbish...this is the PL,not yet in its natural turn,or forced point of focus the Wcup, then period Xmas to March.

Present bottom 6 will look a little different through each of these focus points...Where each team will suprise their own fans, one way or the other..

I think I may be suffering from something but I genuinely think we might get something here.

Faes is going to have Haaland in his back pocket and Barnes is going to score two.

You heard it here first..,

Jesus - you can tell we have won a couple of games - we get absolutely battered here - we’ve won some games against some dross- thank god - we now play the best team in the world - 3 or 4 easily - it’s been a good month - but don’t be getting silly and thinking we get close to these boys - levels

Free throw of the dice this one...just go for it....don't sit back and defend deep (suicide) if it ends 4 nil Man City no one's gonna complain so long as we give it a go

100% Rodgers sets us up to sit back and defend

Wouldn't surprise me one bit of we randomly go out and beat these somehow. Such a Leicester thing to do. But we have to go out and play attacking and positive. Sit back against these and we will be destroyed.

i think you are right (with the second but, not the us winning part 😂

When brighton we’re playing in man city’s half, they genuinely look rattled. They were struggling with it and it’s something they aren’t used to facing. They will always score goals but if you aim to just defend for 90 you’ll still ship 3/4

Rodgers might go for the 541 formation we used against these in the 5-2 away win in lockdown. People say you can't sit deep against them as you'll lose easily - but we sat very deep that day and then destroyed them on the counter, by playing out quickly through their press (not easy) before releasing Vardy and Barnes into the acres of space they leave behind their defence. I think that is far more likely to succeed than going gung ho and creating a basketball match.

Adams and Toney happily received gifts. But Brennan Johnson, Awoniyi, Rodrigo, Adama r poor.

Haaland to score 10?

Honestly we have no business winning this game but sure hope we can grab a draw. A win would be incredible but not banking on it.

No point playing for a draw. Just go out to win. Put out an attacking side and just go for it.

Most teams will get stuffed by Man City this season and i don't expect us to be any different.

I really think that's the wrong mentality.  We should capitalise on  our new-found form, confidence and aggression to look to fight Man C all the way, to concede nothing to them.  To bow down tamely to them would undo the recent improvement in confidence  and would risk the return of self-doubt in the next few fixtures (which I believe include some challenging ones, so we can't allow the recent tougher mentality to slip).

I 1000% agree with you.

But it's down to our clown of a manager to make sure the above does happen...  and whilst I'm really happy with the current results and table position I have a feeling it will be back to BrendanBall  and the tippy tappy possession at all costs crap for Man City...

The 3 teams we have beaten are the current  bottom 3 and all are, lets face it, crap, and if you look at the stats thay have allowed us the freedom to play. I'm sorry to say as soon as we play teams even a few steps higher in class (it doesn't have to be Man City) than say Leeds we will revert back to type. Todgers  doesn't know any other way. Its the style he's been hell bent on making as our default identity and its truly my biggest pet hate with the guy. Its polar opposite to what we all know is our best style of play really.

Be delighted to get anything. Just wanna see spirit. I reckon we'll score at least once, so who knows?

Heart says 2-2, head says a 4-2 loss.

We'll play on the counter with a low block for sure and with how high their line is we could get joy with Maddison or Tielemans pinging balls from deep to Barnes and Vardy/Daka. Will be tough and we'll have to defend incredibly well to keep them out but not as easy as it looks on paper for them.

Evans could come back in but I'm not sure I'd rush N'Didi into a game like this.

I think Soumare and Mendy have been perfectly capable and one of them should keep their place.

Then again Brendan's treatment of Praet has been horrendous so wouldn't surprise me
