Southgate and Rodgers have the same philosophy. Slow building possession game. It’s boring but the stats show it is effective. What do I know though? I wouldn’t have started Henderson and possibly not Kane. I’d also have Maddison on over Rice.

Kane is undropable. He generates spaces for the wide players and it takes more than one person to stop him. 
 

Henderson is an on field general. They’re both first names on the team
