He didn't gift him two goals. Sick of hearing that lately. It was a low well hit shot that the keeper "might" have done better with even though you see plenty of goals driven in low off the legs. And the second was just a great free kick.

That free kick wasn't anywhere near the corner. Ward took a step the wrong way as it was struck and couldn't recover. A top keeper saves that.

I'm sure Rashford will come on 2nd half.

The goal calmed the nerves down and made the Senalgalese shite themselves.
I think it’s over. England will play keep ball now I expect.

The France game should be a fascinating encounter. I think they are the best team in the tournament personally.
Beat them and it could just happen..

It all comes down to what version of England and what version of France turn up. Both capable of being great both capable of being bafflingly awful.

I randomly saw Bellingham's debut goal live when Birmingham were away to Charlton when he was 16. Obviously didnt have a clue who he was at the time but nice thing to say I saw when he wins Ballon D'Or in the future.

Vital we got a second before half time, and we did.

Two and a half minutes into 2 minutes of added time

Bellingham well on his way to bring the best in the world. Think you’ve seen three of the soon-to-be perennial Ballon d’Or frontrunners today in Mbappe, Foden and Bellingham.

Still Venicius Jr, Haaland, Pedri, Gavi and Musiala.

The next 10 years, will look different to the last 10.

I've never been Southgate's biggest fan but I'm surprised by some of the negativity on here. Thought we started really well but couldn't make it count so instead we invited Senegal on to us and then hit them twice on the break. That's pretty spot-on tactics inmho.....and I'm not usually a fan.

I'd never seen Bellingham play before this tournament, and was getting annoyed by how far the pundits tongues were up his arse after a decent game against Iran.

Totally holding my hands up now though after seeing him in multiple games. He's absolute mustard.

I remember a Birmingham city supporting friend talking about how weird it was that Che Adams was targeted ahead of this kid called Jude Bellingham, who was their best player…

Ok 5 subs Gareth - surely at some point today you can give Madders a run out.

You don't captain Dortmund at 19 unless you're very, very, special

If I had to bring Maddison on, I would bring him on for Kane. He would do a similar job. But that's never gonna happen.

I really doubt he’ll play. Mount, Rashford and Grealish will be ahead of him.
