So he’ll have his own tactical ideas but there’s so much he can learn from Nigel… just how to interact with the players from a manager’s perspective and how to get respect as a manager are invaluable lessons to learn.

I'm not sure taking a player into a store room and nutting him is quite Kingy's style.

It's just not him, it wouldn't be convincing!

what about grabbing an opposition player by the throat? I reckon he could do that…

It's all a matter as to how flexible he is.

Flexible enough to bury his head in the sand?

No idea how he’d fare as a coach but based on his commitment, professionalism and overall pride of wearing the shirt in the past I’d love for him to be given a chance to pass that on the any young player working there way up from the youth team.

We still owe him that farewell that the club were going to sort post-Covid…

Only people in at corporate level get any recognition at the club, you should know that by now. Don't dare question their responsibility when it goes to shit though.

Drinky anyone ?  Might be worth the coach taking a look at him.Probably play for £200 a week

Nope. Look, I know you're his agent but we have moved on. Time to tell Drinky to let it go, it's over.

This place is fvcking hilarious.

All the moaning about miss management and wasting money and slagging off the owners for it all.

Then an ex player gets his coaching badges and half the forum say he should be employed by the club.

Passing an exam doesn't mean you're going to be any fecking good.

I really do wonder what state the club would be in if some of those that moan and bitch the most were put in charge.

I would'nt want him back here as a Coach. If it was'nt for the Goals he scored I doubt he'd get a mention.

I seen him pull out of too many tackles to want him as a Coach unless he proves himself somewhere else first.

Why is this even a thread? He's signed a new deal with Bristol City.

Because people keep posting in it like you and now you've made me post in here. ;)
