You should apply to work at LCFC, you'd get on like a house on fire!

No one pays when they take the piss out of us anymore. Sad.

there's "Fer Nino" dirty tackles and there's this, which to me is an assault, simple as.

for people to claim the end result might not have been intentional must go the same opticians as Wenger. you don't go through someone knee when the ball is on the ground

Is that the kind of injury that can ruin a career?

Was just about to post this. His decision to play in the youth cup may be a sliding doors moment in his career.

I'm no expert but I don't think it's a career-ender any more (it used to be) but it's the type of injury that you may struggle to fully recover from. In other words, he might not be as quick as he was. I think he'll have a weakness there too.

I'm absolutely gutted for him. It's an assault really isn't it?

Yep think that's where I stand. There was nothing unlucky about this. This for me was comfortably worse than Fer Nino's challenge.

Totally agree the Wolves Idiot should be banned until Will is back. Was this red mist from a thug jealous of a more gifted player

Good point. Hope you're right mate 👍

I mean to be fair you really should be able to go on to a football pitch to play fellow professionals, regardless of age, and expect to not have someone deliberately try to injure you.

Yes quite. I only mention it because he clearly didn’t have to play from what Rodgers was inferring. But it’s a good indicator of the lad that he wanted to and hopefully an attitude he takes into his recovery.

This x1000. To infer this is somehow partly Will's fault is ridiculous.

Yes, it looks intentional, but it isn’t black and white is it. You cannot look at a video and wholeheartedly say that he meant to do it, it really isn’t as simple as that.

umm… what? lol

he’s about 3 ft over the ball no where near it with his studs up lol

Take some comfort from the near on certainty this Wolves player won’t ever make it now. Academies and clubs won’t gamble on someone with a temper whose capable of that filth.

Reminds me a lot of the lad at Sunderland who broke Diaby’s ankle and quickly disappeared (especially when there was the threat of being sued).

The very best players will play all day everyday and everywhere lol. They are a special breed! Look at pele, best, maradona, ronaldinho, Messi, Ronaldo, zlatan etc etc these guys eat sleep and breathe football. I love that Will wanted to play. I don’t blame Rogers either as you don’t expect something so extreme to happen. Nothing anyone could have done about it other than the kid who commited the foul.

Sorry, but it wasn’t my intention to infer that this is Will’s fault. If that was the case, it would be the same as blaming those who are victims of car crashes, for driving a car.

Those of you who think it’s nothing to do with his  father have obviously never been involved in junior football.

From a long line of absolute c-units is he? Shocker?

To be fair, it's some consolation that he's probably ended his own career with a challenge like that. Total liability
