Soz, whether or not Jelson and/or the Jelley family were involved with the rescue consortium 22 odd years ago, it doesn’t make them privy to any inside workings of the the club today. And even if it did, I don’t see why they’d then forward this information to every hairy-arsed bricky and groundworker who does a days work for them. BS.

Bizarre story with outlandish claims.  Check.

A small, yet suspiciously accurate, bit of detail (thirteen and a half year old retriever) thrown into the mix for authenticity. Check.

Processing (professing) profusely not to be ITK.  Check.

Ahh the sweet smell of forum bullshit.

Dunno why everyone is digging you out mate. You named your 'sauce' , gave details and put it out there.

Yet, there's certain posters on here that love a nudge, nudge, wink, wink hint that they're ITK. They deal in vagueries and entirely predictable statements (I've heard the fofana wants out / Maddison is refusing to sign a new deal) yet some readers vvank themselves stupid over such garbage

Too sensible a post for this talkboard!

It did make me start searching on companies house for some old classmates. One or two who didn't shine in the classroom have seemingly prospered with countless directorships. Good for them!

Countless directorships may not be an indicator of success …….. can just as easily be an indicator of ‘should be residing in an open prison’ ….

I may get shot down for this but the chap I walk my dog with subcontracts to a very big builder of new build houses beginning with J - but sure if

you can say it on here?  The owner of this company helped save Leicester in 2002 as part of the consortium with Lineker back then so he is quite privy supposedly to what is going on.

With the death of Vichai, the estate apparently still hasn’t been divided financially and there is some wrangling over this - hence our ‘lack of money’ to

some extent so maybe only loans this January.

However he has also let my friend know that Top is looking to sell and the Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy maybe looking to front a consortium to take over at Leicester.  Not sure I believe any of it but hey ho?

No but equally you should need to justify yourself for making things up about someone you don't know. And then in the same sentence you accuse him of being a bullshitter. Get a life.

Is this really necessary?:(

While this story seems very strange to the ordinary Fan it could very likely be true, Who knows. But going on what we do know.

Since the tragic accident and the loss of Vichai the driving force for the Club and the Company the dymanic has changed.

Things were bound to change and with that brings big changes and probably power struggles at Boardroom level.

With Big Companies, Legal deals are complex and can take years to work out. Especially when you're dealing not only in different Countries but also different Continents.

With Vichai at the top everyone accepted his leadership and fell into line so to speak.

Now with Top likely running the Company he's probably being outnumbered by Women at the Board Meetings.

He also has to prove himself to the Board and the wider staff within the various Companies including us the Club.

Then you throw in Covid It's also very likely that big decisions have been posponed due to Covid.

Remember they lost a lot of money during Covid.

This could all mean that spending and money was restricted, Especially for Transfers which would be considered a new expense.

And specially without moving the fringe players out first. We all know how poorly that's gone in the Summer.

Top has been a loyal Fan and Owner, So I doubt he is looking to sell, But it could be that it's outside his control and he's forced into a Sale by the Board against his will, Unless he can buy them out. Which is unlikely given the figures involved but would explain a lot.

We also know he's just bought an Island for 200 million. No small sum either.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it evolves, As all will be revealed in time.

While Vichai and the Club were a marriage made in heaven, His death R.I.P. could have a long last effect that neither party wished for.

Such is the uncertainty in Business and Life.

‘Outnumbered by women at the board meetings’ ???   I assume you’re trying to make a point but I’m not sure what it is …..
