More investment from the owners, selling Seagrave does not free up money for player investment, we need to reduce the wage bill, get rid of out of favour/not good enough players, improve our recruitment, increase our football income from finishing high in the league, winning cups and increasing matchday revenues. Vote to alter the rules of FFP to provide a more balanced league.

I'd love to know who was responsible for contracting uncle Vester and count von Bertrand from Southampton, because who ever suggested them and actively sought them should never, ever be trusted with buying any players for this club ever again.

That falls within Rudkin's remit doesn't it?

You won’t find that many football people that thought bertrand on a free was a bad deal. Of course we are overpaying his salary because it was a free but no one could have predicted his injuries and drop in form when he arrived.  Go back to preseason 2021/22 and after the charity shield and find posters that questioned the deal.

Do you know who it was then? because I stand by my statement, they were a terrible addition to both our squad and the wages we pay and drop in form, he has pretty much never played for us whist Vester has had one good game.

Still don't really know what his injury is, even with an acl like certain other players, you get to hear a little bit about their recovery and prognosis. He was supposedly having some kind of operation, was it successful?

I’d imagine Schmeichel would have been asked for his opinion at the very least, regarding Vestergaard.

Just for a giggle how would we handle a potential sale of the club to us, the fans, as another gesture of goodwill by Top?

I’d rather go down.

Yes we've all recommended a mate for a job knowing they will be rubbish at it.

Add Soumare and Daka to that list also, the transfer activity during that window in summer 21 has to be one of the worst ever.

Panic buys as we were in an even worse injury crisis at the time than we are now. It suggests that we couldn't get any other defenders in and we desperately needed bodies. As unsuited to us as Vestergaard has proved, without him we were very close to playing without a recognised centre-back. Some might say that is preferable but I wouldn't agree.

As unsuitable as Vestergaard has turned out to be, I always saw the logic of getting someone in, and his reported ability to spray long passes seemed a good ability to have. The fact he turned out to be crap is clear now though.

Levy selling Spurs to Qatar PSG owners, could see him pave the way to bidding for ownership of LCFC?

levy doesnt own Spurs by the way, Joe Lewis has the bigger share within Spurs from what i remember

Correct. Levy has 29.4 % in ENIC, the company who own Spurs. Lewis the rest.

ENIC would buy us - they’ve owned other clubs outside of Spurs before (but obvs none in England )

Given the recent discussions between Levy and PSG’s owners, there maybe some truth in this. Perhaps ENiC and Levy feel the time is right to step aside at Spurs and then look at alternative opportunities in the premier league such as ourselves.

Well his opinion would be worth only a pinch of salt as he would never discriminate a fellow national team player - and Kaspers decision making in joining Nice has not turned out too rosy...

Entirely plausible
