Cropwellfox Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 (edited) Their midfield will completely outplay ours in every bit of the game, running, pressing, moving ball forward, energy etc etc. This team is somehow worse than the one that got beat 4-1 here last season. Yes there are injuries but my word.. Absolutely shocking management from the top to bottom of the club that we’ve gone backwards from then Edited 14 January 2023 by Cropwellfox 1

Popular Post Muzzy_no7 Posted 14 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 14 January 2023 (edited) For all those saying ‘well what else can brendan do, who else can he pick?’. He could play an attacking 4-2-4 with Barnes and Perez on the flanks and Kelechi up top with Vardy/Daka. He could play a Diamond with the same up front, Perez in the hole and then legs in midfield supporting Youri. Albrighton is not a Premier League footballer anymore. He could put Amartey at right full back and instruct him to not get forward, allowing Castagne to play LB instead of the bottom half Championship Thomas. He could play Soyuncu!? He could go 3-5-2, allowing us to at least have a threat going forward!? We won’t create chances with the 11 he’s selected. We won’t be defensively sound either. Sunbury Fox Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 Looking for a small river if anyone has any links....

Lesterlad Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 Would we have not been better using Nacho in Albrighton role and let him roam. Albrighton doesn’t have the legs anymore. Can’t run. Dribble cross shoot and is slow. (Probably be man of match now) nacho can go up top with vardy play out wide if need to and may even score. Though that’s alian for us at the moment
FoxesWalk Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 Not sure I can stomach this. On paper I fancy them, and we are level on points with them

gw_leics772 Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 At least he's learned his lesson and we won't he trying to go toe to toe with these behemoths of modern football. Phew, thank god we've got 2 dm's. And if anyone asks who else wr can play, ****ING IHEANACHO WITH 2 UP FRONT! (then you e got plenty more options in midfield. I'd probably go mendy on his own as DM, seeing as how he changed the game last time. 🤣)
Buzzell Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 Pathetic squad. Literally needs addressing throughout.

Bob Hazels shorts Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 Soyuncu, Praet and Ihenacho are available and should be in the side Pick the best that is available and make it work Rodgers needs to pull his head out of his ass and stop being so pig headed and vindictive Copy and paste team and tactics is too easy to suss 4

I hear there’s a block of Red Leicester Cheese and a Melton Mowbray pork Pie wedged onto the arrow of the Robin Hood statue (which is now wearing a fox mask) near the castle. I agree with majority of what you put. Though Perez is injured. Have we got no exciting young kids in under 21s who can play right midfield
J.Lisemore Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 Such a stale line-up, hope it doesn't match the performance.

DanDare Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 Not a long trip to Grottingham so hopefully we'll have arrived there in time for Bodgers to introduce the team to each other before going out on the pitch today. That might improve our passing.....just a thought
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 We could win this (but I doubt it). But to look at that team today, in a relegation 6 pointer AND a local Derby! How did it come to this….?
