I'm surprised the arguing has taken this long, or even happening at all based on our fans robotic nature. I'll always follow City but I'm done with being part of this 'support' at the moment, it's too draining. Home games only for the foreseeable

This is how it is when the manager has lost the ability to coach the players, to get the best out of them and the club seemingly do nothing. The fans turn on each other. One side wants to keep the manager as he has won something for us and there might be a slim chance he can turn things around and they are scared what may happen next while others just want him gone and to have anyone else in charge while others turn on the chairman and the club for being inactive or not acting quick enough.  All fans can agree though that the current state of affairs simply isn't good enough.

Nothing worse than a toxic away end, it really really ruins my day at the football.

Can only imagine what it was like yesterday, I can remember how bad it was at Arsenal earlier in the season and yesterday was much worse, and at Forest.

Anyone who comes back with 'but who are you replacing him with' are part of the problem, have 0 knowledge of the game of football and will 100% be off again should we be relegated.

If you think it's bad on here, it's a million times worse on Facebook etc. I've got fed up with arguing with the Rodgers supporters, deluded odd balls the lot of them!

Rodgers is a good coach but he has weaknesses and the longer a manager is in charge of a club, the more likely they are to lose their effectiveness. This is why it makes me laugh when the media or fans think managers need loads more time and that only time can a manager truly build and achieve.

So why did Rodgers have immediate success with us and why has the disappointments and possible failures happened? This narrative he's not been backed is misleading too. He hasn't been this season but his reaction to that and his attitude has aggravated this situation to where we are now vastly underperforming. For that alone he ought to face the sack and when you add to that his atrocious injury record here and both fans of Liverpool and Celtic say it was pretty much the same when he was there and after a few years he'd ran the players in to the ground.

I accept without our best players and not an array of capable players waiting in the wings that we are going to struggle but if the injury issues don't improve then its pointless attempting to build a side to compete. It's as much of a problem as any on the field weakness. His transfer record at the clubs he's been at is suspect too, yet what he's exceptional at is inheriting underperforming clubs and getting them to achieve, but the longer he is there the worse it gets. So why then would anyone in their right mind have the utmost belief that he can rebuild us? We aren't getting the Brendan Rodgers of 2-3 years ago, we are getting the beaten up, negative, demoralised version who cannot take responsibility for his failures and would never let his ego relinquish the reigns of how he operates that might give him the chance of a successful rebuild.

He was instrumental in us bringing in Lee Congerton, who we were warned was a disaster. He was instrumental in bringing in Bryan English and very quickly after a horrendous run of injuries and behind the scenes problems was he removed. Congerton has also taken the fall when told he was free to leave as he wouldn't get a new contract. Others around him, who he demanded be brought in have fallen and yet he comes out of this as not being equally as culpable.

Far better managers than Rodgers have ran in to trouble at clubs after several years and some excellent success, it happens. There's a reason many managers don't stay at clubs longer than 2-3 years, it's much harder to remain effective and inspiring to largely the same group of people long term. The marginal gains wear off and with the way Rodgers has thrown the players under the bus by questioning that they are complacent and lack quality at the same time as saying its largely the same squad as he inherited is the exact reason we are in this crisis and will continue to be. He needs a new challenge as much as we need a new man with new ideas.

No hard feelings, he should go with our best wishes and in time we can hopefully look back with fondness at the good times he brought because for every day that he remains in charge here, we risk oblivion. He's in Peter Taylor territory here and I don't say that in jest or lightly. We are on the cusp of ruin and he has caused a good amount of this.

Agreed. I got a laughing reaction to my suggestion of that last week.

Going to laugh at this one as well @Stinky?

At the moment every single aspect of the club is in turmoil. As a club we’re behind in pretty much everything that actually matters. The stuff that doesn’t actually matter, like making sure you tick health and safety boxes, play loud music and make football ‘inclusive’, kiss cams and fire cannons are all that they actually care about at Leicester.

The ONE thing we have is a ‘state of the art’ training ground. But did we need that at the expense of what’s happening now? Arguably since we moved there it’s all gone downhill. Can’t just be a coincidence?

Doesn’t bother them? Imagine being this apathetic.

The sport is about winning, not being happy to just exist.

Sorry, but this is tosh.

I'm not excusing them, I'm trying to figure out why watching this doesn't bring any sort of reaction. I can't think of much else.

My issue with the toxicity this year has been the constant moaning and bitching during the game.

Do you realise how irritating it is to travel 2+ hours to a ground, spend north of 100-150 quid to watch the team and then have someone shouting, booing, sigh-ing and whinging every 5 seconds during the game right in your ear.
We can all see how shit the football is in front of us, moaning and shouting abuse at Luke Thomas every 5 minutes isn’t going to help anyone. Me not shouting ‘Brendan is a cvnt’ during the game certainly doesn’t make me ‘compliant’ to the clubs downfall.
People aren’t necessarily following BR to the end of the earth because they’re not booing at the game, they’re just trying their very best to enjoy the shit we’re having to watch because it acts as an escape from day to day life.

I'm sorry but I struggle to believe anyone can force themselves to enjoy that. Doesn't matter how hard you try or how nice the people you're sitting with are.

I had a relatively good natured disagreement with someone yesterday. After Barnes's second miss, he shouted 'Demarai Barnes!'. I told him that was a bit harsh! 😄

I support Brendan. I know I am in the minority, but I think he is ok. I blame the club for not investing for two years. You need investment and turnover to stop becoming stale and going backwards. If we invest this month, I think a Brendan will keep us up. Then a reappraisal in the summer. I anticipate being unpopular

Wow. Not going to be harsh as each to their own but genuinely interested to know what you are possibly seeing with your own eyes to believe this?

The bit about him being ok and that he can turn it round.

It’s true about investment but no amount of investment will turn things round with Rodgers.

It seems to me that not only do we live in a post- truth world, we live in a post - fact world.

Fact and truth have been replaced by opinion and belief, Trump and Rodgers are perfect examples.

People believe what they read and are told and seem incapable of seeing what is staring them in the face!

If you point out facts to these brainwashed drones they dont just disagree anymore, they are "offended".

Facts and truth have always been strangers to newspapers, radio and TV,

Contrary views to the accepted mass opinions are now demonised just as religions paint dissenters as heretics.

Add to this the  Metathesiophobia of the happy clappers and its no wonder the teflon dwarf is STILL  favoured by the vast majority.

Classic Facebook lol ‘Much rather see the back of fans’, don’t worry about that you soon will be if we are in the championship next season.
