You know what I mean. People are there to support the team and be ‘entertained’ (!), not listen to some muppet behind them shout Brendan is a cvnt every 2 mins.

I had it at Brighton away, absolute foghorn stood behind me shouting the most ridiculous crap right in my ear over and over again. Was so jarring and made the game, which was bad enough as it was, 10 x worse. Almost like he was attention seeking, like ooh look at me I can moan the most and I’m the most angry so I support the club more than the rest of you.

In the end I just said 60mins in if you hate the club and players this much why are you here? Why’ve you travelled all the way to Brighton on a Sunday if it’s that bad. In fairness to him after that was much better and less annoying.

It's what happens at football. Some of the comments can be funny but it's true some are irritating and, when offensive, the perpetrators  should be thrown out. However, do

we want the experience being even more sanitised and the football ends up like Wimbledon tennis?

The whole club is in such a funk its nothing but negativity wherever we look. Our drop into relegation appearing like a self serving prophesy with each week that goes by. The good work done before the WC has quickly eroded and now its come down to a situation of every week where we check what the west ham or southampton or everton scoreline is rather than our own. Makes you not want to care anymore as caring brings on suffering. Yes it appears we are sleep walking but we have to hold onto the small glimmer of hope that things will change. I know our run of games is awful but what else do we have? The next home game will be pivotal in so many ways. I believe we will see Top in attendance. If any signings are going to be made they have to be soon. Feel sorry for these guys coming in as their being dropped right into the premier league frying pan. We all need a lift anything something will take it. Can't take solace anymore in seeing fans oof clubs below us suffering more than us. C'mon footballing gods please cut us some slack! :please:

I think Rodgers should be sacked, but judging by the reaction of some in here, you lot need to reevaluate your lives if football bothers you this much

Classic Facebook lol ‘Much rather see the back of fans’, don’t worry about that you soon will be if we are in the championship next season.

And I guarantee he'd be one to **** off after a season or 2 in the championship.

Who’s looking at the XI we’re putting out these days and thinking they can get a win off anyone in the league? It doesn’t matter who’s the manager, the players are soft and awful.

I sort of take your point. I've had my own experiences of people being a bit over the top.

But then, you're at the football. That's what the football is. Especially when your team is crap.

It isn't supposed to be akin to theatre or an experience.

This is so true. The bollocks you come out with at a football match is like nothing else on earth. Last week against fullham when ward was playing it around at the back with the defense and their players were bearing down at us, I ended up booing like a madman, don’t know why, maybe frustration of seeing what was happening and the consequences. It’s just mental cos no way in a million years would I normally act like madman, it’s like being possessed by a demon or something. So a bloke in front starts ranting at my mate sat next to me about booing and to get behind the team and he’s going “who the fvck are you talking to”. Honestly, it’s like a mental hospital.

Agreed, I’d like to say I’m quite vocal and enjoy a good atmosphere. But there’s ways and means!

You are right but I wouldn't take posts on Facebook serious. Absolute state of a platform.

Yep, agreed, but they just repeat the whole "we were Championship before, so you should be happy" "think about the free stuff we get" lol You're never gonna change those people unfortunately.

fair play to the bed sheet banner. Looked tin pot and i’m sure many commented negatively on it, but it’s got the press talking about it and if john percy is even starting to dig in then the club will be feeling this.

imagine what we could do with a real protest instead

One banner and we’ve got articles, being shown on MOTD etc. As said before, FairPlay to Union FS, was their banner. Shows what a bit of protest can do. It’s up to us to demand change.

Just proves what the fans can do.

If you don't agree with the dissent then make a Rodgers in banner you weirdos.

It's going to be isn't it.

I used to get angry at how shit our fans are but not anymore.

I'm not sure it's possible to give full backing and vocal support when deep down all you really want is the current manager to be sacked.

This is definitely true here. I am still there vocally but I can't stand this period of knowing each goal / win helps that twat continue his running us into the ground either. It's a terrible time to support us.
