To quote a smiths song title " This joke isn't funny anymore"  We all care about LCFC. We  may have different views. I do not want my club to disintegrate like this. Soul destroying.

I'm not one for believing in "cycles" of the club being in the Premier league for 9 years and then naturally decaying like dead wood, or, as another example, like brendan rodgers.

Our club should be managing the recruitment and cycling of transfers to the positions on the pitch. Its not rocket science. If we go down I don't beleive that it's a natural decay that's somehow supposed to happen, but instead it's the failings of the club as a whole and is affecting all of our teams from U18 to the senior squad and the ladies team aswell.

Hasn't spent a cent on the stadium that I can see. Nope , nothing since they took over the club. The training ground at Belvoir Drive was a joke for a PL club and had to be done. The stadium has been kicked into the long grass as far as I can see.

You think all that land and the planning and designs etc come for nothing?

Now we know that FFP excuse is not all that it seems (Have I missed something?), the lack of investment even at the risk of relegation, is very odd. We were told there is money available but we are constrained by FFP, however, that constraint does not seem to be as big an issue as we were told. Certainly not to the extend where we couldn't even afford £13million on Lookman in the summer. Who told us that? Top was pretty clear in the summer, our trading was reliant on player sales as we had to reign things in because of the previous summers £60m net and NO sales. They sold a player, so we bought someone in the summer and I expect we've got something to spend now, it might just not align with what our targets cost. But that's just more piss poor planning if that's the case.

The most likely issue and one I can understand Top doesn't want to own up to, is that he either doesn't want to, or he simply can't invest in the club anymore. (They've put more in recently than they did under any time under Vichai in the premier league.)

Isnt it obvious, this is the start of our mission. A mission that nobody else has achieved and would make us the immortal football club.

Actively getting relegated to League 2 so we can win it and complete the set.

Wonder if we would be able to start putting hotels on each league

Well after our non show against the league 2 bottom placed team I wouldn't be confident of us winning league 2 with the squad we have now.

Luke Thomas would be right at home though.

It's absolutely Tragic.

So many players out of contract or not wanted. We're In relegation battle. We need at least 4 permanent players in this window alone so we can embed them in for next season where we will need more in the summer and we will be lucky to get one in at this rate.

Club has gone backwards..forum knows it..seems players know it yet nothing been done about it whatsoever.

Just shambolic from Top (no pun intended) to Bottom

Just don’t think Top has the passion his dad did for the club is what it boils down to. Was rare you wouldn’t see Vichai at a game. Barely ever see Top. It’s heading toward that boiling point between the ownership and the fans.

In fact, it’s a collision course.

The head of recruitment was appointed but not allowed to work until the summer transfer window closed. It looks like the head of recruitment has not started work until January 1st. What has been going on for nearly 4 months. "A lot of work is going on behind the scenes" is quoted. Total rubbish. Their seems to be whole load of people having holidays around europe and beyond at the clubs expense. I know the club is struggling with finances but this is beyond a joke.

Communication is the key to all this, but the board don't seem to want to, or have been told not to talk about it!  I think they have forgotten that the club belongs to the supporters club, and they are only custodians of it.

Now for a bit of Led Zep!

It’s clear for all to see we are on a rapid decline. The perfect storm of players well passed there best (Vardy, Albrighton, Ndidi, Evans, Ricardo) our best players coming up to end of contract (Maddison, Tielemans) and many playing who are just not good enough getting game time (Thomas, Amartey, Castagne, Ward, Perez) For me the club have sleep walked into this position by a succession of poor transfer windows. Clubs like Brighton have replaced us as an example of good scouting and replacing players as they inevitably move on to top 6 clubs.  If we manage to survive this season we need a huge turnover in players in the summer and an “A+”window and I just don’t see any evidence we have it in us,

The most important part of any club is the business you do in the market and we were once vibrant and clever without throwing about crazy money.  Regardless of whichever manager is in charge the business done by the club and resources provided to that manager should be the priority, players! This has been sadly lacking.

Sure covid has not helped king power as a business, training ground, stadium expansion etc but we haven’t even used the loan market or been able to move players on, we have let valuable assets run there contracts down in Tielemans, Soyuncu and Maddison the whole recruitment policy at the club has been a joke for many many windows.

So I for one agree the club is a joke when all around spend and improve this January we plod along expecting to be able to achieve on the pitch.  Well look at the back 4 and keeper that started against Forest, shocking, not good enough players pure and simple.

Championship here we come, let’s hope we do what Burnley are doing and not WBA

Don't get uptight with me, man. Cos if you do, I'll have to give you a dose of medicine. And if I spike you, you'll know you've been spoken to.

the more i see the more the club is a joke, we knew we needed a LW and Olise was there for the picking the summer he went Palace, Eze too.....our recruitment has took a massive step backwards since Rodgers and co took more control

RW is what we’ve needed

If we sign nobody during this transfer window, given the current injuries we have and our precarious league form, it’s almost like the club are resigned to being in a relegation battle.
If there was ever a time we need to strengthen, it’s now

Refusal to do so is literally suicide, especially in attacking areas. We’ve shown we lack any dynamism and real creativity without Maddison. And Barnes can’t handle the pressure of being the only real goal threat.

Can you link the communication between any Premier League Club and their fans as to how they are doing financially, which players they are thinking of keeping or offloading, what their transfer budget is and likely targets?

Now for a bit of reality

The optimist in me knows that there are also players at other clubs who are running down their contracts. We are a huge club maybe not Real Madrid but we are not a provincial back water either.

There should be a confidence about who we are, what we have achieved and where we should be aiming to return to.

Do I want to know the exact transfer budget....no, do I want to know Susan Whelan's favourite colour......no, or the colour of Rudkins tie....no!

I understand that they cannot go into every minute detail, but when things are going swimmingly, communication seems easy, but when the s**t hits the fan, people naturally hunker down, this is when you need communication with the fans.  Look at Everton, where the distance from the board and supporters has seemed to grow to levels where all sorts of conspiracy theories are banded about.

The board and the owner are only custodians of our football club, they may own it on paper, but without us the club is nothing.

So out of 19 PL clubs you can’t name one that communicates with the fans in a more open way than our owners.

I don't give a tom tit about other clubs, why would I!
