We need Flash -saviour of the universe

Has raw talent but not a lot of end product. Seems like another Adama Traore or Dwight McNeil in that regard. He has a lot to prove before the original hype about him can be justified.

Leicester City 'interested' in Everton star after £60m transfer bid rejected - Leicestershire Live

Leicester City are reported to be one of several clubs to be targeting a move for Everton winger Anthony Gordon.

The Foxes announced their first signing of the January window on Friday as Victor Kristiansen completed his move from FC Copenhagen. The 20-year-old arrives in a deal that could rise to a possible £17m and it could prove to be an exciting last 10 days of the January transfer market as Brendan Rodgers looks to strengthen his squad.

City are thought to be in the market for a new winger, given their lack of genuine wide options, and a centre-back. A fresh name that has emerged as a possible target is Everton forward Anthony Gordon, who was reportedly the subject of a £60m bid from Chelsea in the summer.

The 21-year-old enjoyed a promising start to the season, scoring twice in Everton’s first five league games this term. However, he has since scored one in his last 11 appearances, starting just one of the club’s last six league games, with Frank Lampard’s side sat in the bottom three.

It has been reported by 90min that Everton are now “considering approaches” for one of their prize assets this month. City are named as one of four clubs to have expressed an interest and made “enquiries” over the forward’s availability this month, alongside Nottingham Forest, Newcastle and Aston Villa.

Everton are reportedly set to sign Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma on loan, placing Gordon’s place in the side under further pressure. Meanwhile, City are reported to be targeting a move for Fiorentina winger Nicolas Gonzalez, among others, and the manager has been clear about his desire to bring in new recruits.

Doesn't Gray keep him out of the side at the moment?

No convinced about him. But also, think there could be a player in there with some coaching
