City are named as one of four clubs to have expressed an interest and made “enquiries” over the forward’s availability this month, alongside Nottingham Forest, Newcastle and Aston Villa. Everton are reportedly set to sign Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma on loan, placing Gordon’s place in the side under further pressure.
