We are going down because there isn’t enough fight. Made the point yesterday when you are low on confidence and struggling for result, there is normally at some point a reaction.

Players come out motivated for first ten minutes and run hard. That just never happens

Don’t think we have it in us.

Just doesn’t seem to be any fight in the club at all levels.

Players and supporters alike just don’t seem bothered at the moment.

There was more dissent against Pearson when we were bottom as a newly promoted side than their is against Rodgers now

This is absolutely inexcusable by our excuse for a fan base….

Can only come to the conclusion that those who are Rodgers in base this purely on possession stats!

Bournemouth- can’t see them surviving

Southampton - looks not great but they are improving under Jones

Forest - Will depend if this is their purple patch and they go on a bad losing run. They have a great manager and fight.

Everton - Will sack Lampard and do their escape act.

Wolves - Upwardly mobile under their new manager.

West Ham - Not sure why they are down there. They will rise.

Leeds - Are positive and score goals. Fans will pull them over the line.

Bournemouth are the only obvious shout to finish below us. We will need Forest, Southampton and Everton to collapse which is unlikely all 3 will so can’t see us not being in the bottom 3 based on the fact we are clearly not interested in making any changes to what is not working.

Those saying new signings (what the 1 we have got who Rodgers is clearly hinting at not playing) or we’ll be fine when injuries return, are underestimating the mess we are in. Justin and Ricardo aren’t going to hit the ground running. And it’s not the personnel who are the problem, it’s the mentality of the manager and the fact he has sucked the life from them.

Summary, Rodgers is basically a dementor from Harry Potter and we are ****ed!

When I claimed we wrote the season off before it even started, I knew we were in for a season of poor football, being shit and struggling but not even I envisaged relegation.

But atleast people were careful what they wished for...

Going down for me, absolutely no question.  Reminds me of Leeds from way back when they were relegated and literally until the last week everyone was saying they were too good to go down and then it happened.

Our free fall is frightening.   There is no chance in hell that we aren't rooted in the bottom 3 in 4 games time.

No question? You’d better bet your mortgage on it then, you clearly know something the bookies don’t.

At this stage, I don't think so. We seem to take fuching ages to get going but I think, come March, we'll be moving in a positive direction. Hoping the draw against Brighton is enough to jump start a positive run, again.

I reckon 16/17th, maybe 2-3 points clear. We'll scrape it and it'll be bloody unpleasant.

My major, major concern is that changes aren't made because I am assuming that either signings come in, there's a management change or a mindset change from the club. If none of those happen then Everton will overtake us out of the drop zone.

Yes but how long will you go on about it is my point lol lol

The subject matter is still here, still up for discussion, the debates go on.

Your debates are boring though. It's not even a debate any more anyway. Who are you trying to prove a point to when I'd say 90-95% want Rodgers out now anyway?

Just smacks of arrogance and an 'I told you so' attitude which isn't a great look :dunno:

Everton will sack Lampard and stay up, you watch.

Yes they will and employ that man who specialised in keeping a team of limited talent and resources in the prem - he will and it will be at our expense.

But hey Mr Dyche is not good enough for our creme de la creme players or our stratospheric ambitions so no loss there then.

Every group of supporters thinks their own team is better than they are, sadly facts dont lie and say otherwise.

Simple for me - keep the flop take the drop.

When the hope is that there are teams worse than yours to take the relegation spot it's not a good sign.. :/

Recall our squad from the Great Escape season: the guile, the fight, the heart they showed with a mountain to climb..now compare that to Brendan's soggy bottom boys, rolling down a slippery slope..

That squad was playing well, we just weren't getting results / being a bit unlucky. It only needed a couple of tweaks. I had confidence throughout that we wouldnt be relegated.

This team has more talent and ability. Yet I have no confidence in our ability to stay up. This stems from the management.

A back 5 of Ward, Castagne, Amartey, Faes and Thomas will see us relegated. That is a mid Championship defence right there.

I hope Kristiensen can improve drastically what we have and Evans and Ricardo can somehow get fit and turn the clock back. It is looking very bleak at the moment.

Awful buys, awful coaching and a number of players who no longer want to be here has seen us looking like true relegation fodder.

3 peoples heads should be the first to roll for this disaster. Whealan, Rudkin and Rodgers. All very culpable of the shit show we are in.

There should be a full audit also on who is doing what at the club at the moment on the non playing side and find out who is doing their job to the best of their ability. There is a malaise around the club riight now and needs some affirmative action.

If Top has the balls to get rid of these then he would start to get the fans bback on board. People keep mentioning Simon Jordan and being only one of the few people in the media to see through the bollocks of Rodgers comments. If he wanted it, I think he could do a great job of CEO and cleaning house. Would take the pressure of Top immensely too.

I will say, I think there will be an element of emotion in this poll given we've just thrown another 2 points away, and I do think there are easily 3-4 teams that are just as bad as us, but I would say we fully deserve to go down this season, whether we will is up for debate. We have a squad fully capable of more.

It went in off the post we didn't throw away two points, Brighton have beaten much better teams than us this season. We did well not to capitulate.

Ray Winston doesn’t accept mortgages.

I voted no purely on the basis that at some.point Rodgers is going to get sacked and when he is, we'll do better.

The big concern I - and surely many others - have is that the “at some point” will come too late to allow his replacement to repair the damage.

We deserve to go down and part of me wants it to happen.

It's awful actively cheering against your team isn't it.

The will to lose short term in order for the club to move on from BR medium term, has been my view for so long, I can't remember the last time I wanted us to win.

On match day I do want us to win and succeed but the days in between can be very mixed.
