With the run of matches coming up, there’s a strong chance that we will be in big trouble by the end of February. There is then huge pressure to get points from the so called easier matches. I have voted that we will go down because of this and due to the fact there are not 3 teams who are really bad like last season. It’s impossible to say really. If we have the expected bad run, a new manager may come in just as some better fixtures are coming. I also feel if we bolster the squad now and stay relatively injury free we should have enough, but it’s all ifs and buts!

For me the most concerning aspect of our current situation is not the injuries, the lack of quality or passion and fight, it's Rodgers total inability to change a losing system.

He simply cannot admit - even to himself l suspect - that it isnt working or that opposition tacticians might just have worked out the way we play - the ONLY way we play.

One of the basics in virtually all sports is if what you are doing is getting you beaten then change something - anything- and if lets say last year you were doing something that won you games, then do that!

Like playing the man who scored you goals last season for example!

I think we will be relegated because Top is very clearly not going to sack him and he won't walk.

He also wont change but our opposition managers will l believe.

Someone on here said all we need to do is beat the teams below us, well that would give us a total of 18pts and thats assuming West ham and Leeds dont pull away which they probably will, and would leave us on 36pts.

To me the people who say " it can't happen" are like the poor people on the Estonia ferry who sat playing cards as water lapped around their feet unable to believe or accept what was happening.

Personally l can't see a win being likely until the Bournemouth match and even then it will be 50/50!

They beat us when Evans, JJ and Maddison were in the team!

We are clearly and obviously in trouble big time.

I was on the Yes side till I looked at goal differential. LCFC have about the best among the 'contenders' to drop. I think they'll put a run of matches together at some point. But I still blame Rodgers for not getting enough out of the available talent. Iheanacho and Cags should both be playing and should have been playing thoughout this mess.

Wouldn't fancy us in any 6 pointers against those around us at the min. We are spineless. So relegation is highly likely.

I think this is an important point. We will need to win some high pressure games once this tough run is over. Given our pathetic attempts to finish fourth and some woeful semi final performances- even at times when the team has been functioning pretty well…it’s hard to be optimistic …we’ve already lost to Bournemouth, Southampton and Fulham and dropped two points to  Brentford.

I think we will finish 4th from the drop, and Rodgers will depart along with Maddders & Youri, followed by a complete rebuild

Computer says 'NO'.  Not convinced we'll reach 40 points personally.

It seems to me that, whatever your opinion of BR, he's run out of ideas or the players have tired of him, maybe a combination of both, plus other factors such as injuries and wear & tear, both physically and mentally.

I've said before that if Vardy were firing, we'd be in a different position. Confidence across the board would appear to be very low. I cannot get angry like many of you, but it is sad. As a club, we got awfully close twice.

Being extremely optimistic I can see us gaining 38 points.

More realistically if everything continues as is, it'll be the low 30s.

Being realistic I can't see where the next 3 are coming from.

538 which is really good at projections has us 16% of relegation and getting 40 points.

They have Saints, Bournemouth and Everton.

The trouble with models (tbf I don’t know what FTE use) like that is they’re predicated on things essentially staying the same. Southampton have gambled and have had an uptick in form.

Yeah our rating by them looks way too high.

We’ve actually reduced our chances of relegation this weekend despite the points deficit reducing - I guess that’s because of their weighting of remaining opposition. I wouldn’t back us to beat anyone currently

I think we appear just to be literally asleep at the wheel at the min.

Everyone around us seems to have the desire and ambition to be proactive in the market or making sensible changes of manager.

I really fear for us.
