I don’t know, they’ve been dragged closer and closer each season. I don’t think Jones is the man to keep them up, they’ve looked a lot better lately but they went through periods like this under Hassenhutl. I think their a few seasons ahead of us and where we’re going.

Nathan Jones is a good manager. I think they will continue to improve.

We've got Spurs, Arsenal and Utd as 3 of our next 4 games. I expect us to be in the relegation zone by then, if not bottom of the table.

Feb is going to be a tough month for sure.

No but only by virtue of there being 3 teams worse off than us. Not because we're any good.

You’re being very optimistic. There isn’t a team in the division I would expect us to beat home or away right now. Wolves Leads Bournemouth Southampton West Ham would all beat us if we played tmrw.

I only left Everton out bc they are maybe the only team as bad as us. But I’d still consider a home draw a point gained against them. And let’s be honest - they’d beat us too

Wouldn't fancy us in any 6 pointers against those around us at the min. We are spineless. So relegation is highly likely.

Rodgers has 1 point from 5 games. How many more failures? Could have got sacked twice over now in some clubs. FFS.

That’s 4 👀

I can imagine all of them beating us mate

At the very least we’d struggle to beat any of those at the moment, draws at best.Once Everton sack Lampard (which is coming soon) they’ll be alright.

Everton will sack Frank and have a bounce. So think we'll come 18th if nothing changes.

Everton’s issue is their starting 11 is 5 or 6 managers worth of players. Arguably they’re in more of a mess than we are, which is quite impressive really.

I think with Madders, KDH, Ricardo et al all being close to readiness we’ll stay up. But I’m not counting my chickens and it’s going to be tough. We could do with a couple more signings as well.

I think today was one of the worst possible outcomes. It's only a point in a winnable home game but it wasn't bad enough for any serious comeuppance for anybody. It's another bad outcome disguised as a positive simply because of what we've become accustomed to.

In simpler terms, today hasn't helped our cause much at all but it's also not threatened Rodgers' job. We'd have arguably been better getting hammered and forcing serious changes.

I walked away at the time feeling somewhat positive from that today. But on reflection it wasn't a good result or performance.

It was the same against Palace earlier this season, the two times the crowd could of turned on him we’ve scraped a semi decent performance.

Don’t think we have it in us.

Just doesn’t seem to be any fight in the club at all levels.

Players and supporters alike just don’t seem bothered at the moment.

There was more dissent against Pearson when we were bottom as a newly promoted side than their is against Rodgers now

Various people keep telling me not to worry, but I can't see anything other than being relegated now. I don't fancy us gaining points against anyone other than the teams close to us. Even then I can only see us scraping draws.

I honestly think we'll likely finish with about 25 points. I really hope I'm wrong and that new signings or sacking the manager could galvanise the team and give us a bounce we desperately need.

I think the answer will probably be ‘no’ because I think there’s just about enough goals in the team to avoid the drop.

But if we concede too many, this won’t matter.

Hopefully the new lad makes us more solid down the left.

Just jinxed it by saying "no"! Only because there are definitely three teams worse than us IMO in Bournemouth, Southampton and Everton!

If nothing changes we will either just about survive or go down.

Things that would give me hope.

Manager with a clue making a team over perform, its actually the other way round.

Tough to concede, making a sneaky 1-0 win give hope, we just have too many panicky defensive moments.

Some outstanding quality in the team, I feel the last player we had that was genuinely at that level was Mahrez, Maddison is the closest we have to it now, but he is very hot and cold with injury spells.

If we do hit form, it always feels fragile, and constant injuries would soon disrupt the team.

We also have a combination of poor fitness and weak mentality.

I feel the only potential quick fix is a manager change.

Yep. It's barely believable. It's the perfect storm to drop. You wonder how things would be if he'd been at Southampton and Newcastle rather than those two and Forest.

But this is kind of the problem. I've such little faith in the hierarchy that I genuinely believe that they would make these decisions on a whim.

We'll be in the bottom three in March, I'm almost certain.

Just listen to what Brendan says. It’s all negative. There’s no inspiration there. We’re doomed, it’s a bit like sending children into battle, we’re weak minded, predictable, lack fight and have no leaders at the club. It’s a recipe for disaster. I would go as far as saying it would be a miracle for us to stay up.

If you are booked for a kids party later - cancel.
