Understandable as he’s obviously not the player he once was and fair play if he wants to go to start more games, he’s more than earnt that right from us, but it is still kind of gutting to see him go.

Sad. Totally understand he wants more game time and fair play. Hasn't many years left to do that. Been absolutely brilliant for us over the years.

He always gave his best regardless, but I for one was disappointed if he was in starting 11 He no longer was premier league standard due to being slow. Mark deserves first team football at his age and will get it at WBA. Always will be a legend and deserves all the applause he gets from City fans

He scored in the last league game, gives his absolute all and we have been relying on academy players to pad out the bench.

Albrighton added: “I’ve never had an experience of fighting for promotion before and that’s something that excites me.

 

“I’ve really enjoyed my time at Leicester and it’s a fantastic club, but I’ve gone through a spell where I’ve not been playing regular football.

 

“It’s not something that I’ve really been able to deal with well and I felt like I needed a fresh, new challenge. I want to come in here and show people that I can still play at a good level. It’s exciting for me.

 

“I have kids that want to come and watch me play on a Saturday afternoon and they haven’t been able to do that recently. I’d love to get back out there and play as much as I can for them. I also have some friends who are big Albion fans who’ll be thrilled when this news gets released.”

Tete or Marc in the next game then? It's sad to see players like Marc go, but that's football and you have to move on

We have a diminishing squad and more worryingly one that is full of players ready to move on with little care. Albrighton just being around the place gives me more confidence. It' another awful decision for me.
