I think we will be disappointed. We need minimum 5 players that are an improvement on what we already have. There is no evidence from history that we are capable of achieving this in Jan if at all. 

 

My feeling is the money is already spent anyway, and there's no way we will shift anyone out for decent money unless Hermanson is sacrificed.

If no meaningful signings are made, we are 100% relegated. Players know it, fans know it, and so does Rudkin.

I think there must be an element of him being an arrogant stubborn *****, as surely he can see hes out of his depth, he taking the club to oblivion from such a good position. 

 

The promotion back last time was a 2nd chance, we have blown that and will not be a Premier League club again for decades, like Stoke.

The club are clearly going to wait for the PL to either charge them or declare we haven't breached, only at that point can they decide the appropriate action to take with transfers, and that's the sensible thing to do you'd think. If we get deducted points, then we are as good as down, but other clubs might also get charged such as Everton, then that may give us a chance.

It is a mess but 23/24 seasons business was decent, albeit Coady wasnt necessary, but it got us up, and this season we were favourites to go down with points deduction anyway, it was always likely to happen, if there's any truth about Edouard contract though, the club need to address who is making these ridiculous decisions, we didn't need a third PL striker, even with daka injured, we should never have let Cannon go.

I didn’t understand why PSR issues would have any impact, if we get charged, surely we will appeal and in any case, the only way out of this mess to stay in the PL and only way we will survive is investigating in the January window!

This is the thing I don’t get. Plenty of people, up and down the country get promoted, not necessarily fully qualified for the job. Imposter syndrome is a thing for this exact reason. But they learn, make mistakes and develop. 
 

This guy has had what, ten years, had experts like Macia and Walsh under him. Watched the man management and leadership of Pearson. Puel’s ability to pick talent. Ranieri’s ability to manage the media and also first hand experience of an experienced, maverick entrepreneur in Vichai. And he’s learnt nothing ? He’s develop so badly, guys like Jason Wilcox who’ve been in jobs for a shorter time have been picked up by clubs like Man U. 

 

He’s also been academy director for longer. 
 

How are we sat here in 2025 and still waiting for the next Rudkin **** up. It’s unbelievable, what he has done but even more so how little he has learnt and developed.
