For those that are still defending him by saying he isn't responsible, look, we all have jobs, and have either worked under managers or been one.

Let's say you are production manager, and the production of the business is failing miserably, even though you don't actually put the tomatoes in the tin, or maintain the machinery, or source the material, if it's failing and you are the manager your head is on the block because you are responsible for the production including the staff in production.

I can't believe I'm having to explain this.

I think those defending him are saying how can that manager perform when the owners of the company cant provide him with the tools to fix and maintain the machine or has a recruitment policy that only employees zoo animals to operate the production line.

I think much like cooper he's a manager out of his depth, but set up to fail by the incompetence above him, so moving him on doesn't solve the problem, you bring in the next fool to try and make it work.

I'm not fussed whether he goes or not, until we we see a change in our entire footballing direction it's just next man up to fail.

Just realised this is about rudkin and not RVN.....oh its been a long day. Yes I am with you 😅

He doesn’t. But a good DoF at comparable clubs normally ‘screen checks’ and ‘quality checks’. The DoF also employs the recruitment director.

There were so many questions marks on Okoli. Like Coady the previous summer. That anyone in his position should not be spending the amount of money we did on either.

Richard Hughes at Liverpool, formerly of Bournemouth isn’t picking players but he’s totally ensuring that their signings follow a pattern of quality, potential and a logical succession path.

This.

If the club had got the right players in (sold the right players) based on a consistent style and approach it shouldn’t matter who the manager is.

For example you don’t appoint Cooper and you don’t sign Coady (he wasn’t an Enzo signing !) if the club is insistent on a modern possession based approach. Our recruitment is so inconsistent and changing with each manager. What’s the long term strategy and plan!

Just trying to think of a chant that sums up his role as we can't possibly hold the Director of football to account for the state of the football as we don't know what he signs off on.

"We don't know what you're doing"?

Maybe we are looking at this wrong?

Clubs simply have DoFs ... We have a man that is willing to look after players, races and clubs in more than one country.

Not to mention takes the stand at the high court and dishes out an oscar worthy performance.

Ladies and gentlemen we have a swiss army knife of a business god. If anything the football club is holding his true potential back !!!!

All this learnt from being a head of youth development.

Looking forward to hearing what exactly he's been doing for the last month when the window closes with only Woyo Coulibaly brought in (not that the manager seems to have any interest in playing him particularly?)

We should be getting rid of this muppet.

We won the league and played champions league football. Our wage structure at the time was very low.

This was a great achievement and with clever investment again we would not be in the mess we are in.

We sold players for huge sums of money but waisted the money we got.

We lost our way big time and we need a restructure asap. Get Pearson in as Dof and  let him run the football operations.

It's ok. One of our biggest relegation rivals have announced their best player has signed a new deal and have put £25m down on a new CB.

That almost never works. We are staying up !!!

Forgive me if I have mentioned this before.

A friend of mine used to coach a young age group at Leicester and he had named his team for an upcoming fixture.  He subsequently had to change this team to ‘accommodate’ some Thai Players - thus throwing his tactics into jeopardy.

He was told by Rudkin, who my friend despises along with Beaglehole, that under no circumstances he had to change the team.

Unfortunately we’re a Vanity Project for these imbeciles

Why are we so focused on Rudkin - I agree he's at fault for so much that is wrong, but if the guy who is paying his wages and has overseen this sh1tshow thinks he's doing a good job, we'll just get Rudkin Mk2. I posted something about not being able to stand the sight of Top, he's clearly an arrogant guy and I got a few negative comments and messages from it today.

KP is the problem now. It's not just Rudkin, it's all areas. We need to face up and admit that the love story has been over a long time ago, and these charlatans, who are not our club, need to be moved on, pretty fking quickly. Vichai is gone, unfortunately.

It is either A) he is incredibly bad at his job or (B) he is being overstretched and can’t keep up with his multiple roles, either way it is gross negligence

At this point it's hard to know if posts like this are sarcastic or legit
