We need to stand up to Haarland's physical power- not easy of course and no outstretched legs in the box for Grealish to trip over. They are a well oiled machine but Spurs tied them up and broke fast so it can be done.

Come on lads, let's give it a right good go. Sing your hearts out. No fear.

Last minute screamer. 1-0. Singing back down the M6. It's going to be glorious.

I’m already feeling positive with Deano and Shakey at the helm. A Kelechi screamer for starters then some body on the line last ditch defending to see us home.

With games either side against Bayern, l wonder (hope !) if he’ll be rested ?
They should still have plenty enough to beat us.

I think the key is this Champions League game tonight.

He'll have to rest his best players.

Haaland will score his, millionth hattrick here. Any other opposition and I'd believe in the new manage bounce but not against these.

That stat from the commentary this evening …. Man City have scored 118 goals this season🥴🥴🥴. Still, they haven’t really played against Jannik and Big Dan before, so there’s hope yet. 👍

I know it comes with its risks but personally I think its worth it...sending 4 forward for the press....Man City love pissing around at the back....combo of Vards, KDH, Iheanacho and Madders could get some joy there....I know...I'm reaching 😅

We’re 14/1 to win! That’s much bigger odds than Gillingham were to beat us in the FA Cup. Shows how our status has fallen .

16/1 on skybet.

We were 8/1 when we beat them there a few seasons back to be fair so it's probably about right.

Please can people stop with this god awful double DMF pivot Sh1t.

It was proven against Villa it doesn't work, so what makes it any different against a far superior team like Man City.

If we try and play defensively "strong" with double protection in front of our defence by sacrificing any creativity or forward press we will get well and truly 'fooking' hammered.  It just invites teams to pin us in front of our 18 yrd area and place us under pressure, something we can't do against Man City.

How many times under "The Little Cretin" have we capitulated due to a heavily defensive formation.

As Smith said, we need to get forward quicker, this formation wouldn't let us do that.

We're going to be playing either a 4231 or a 433, it's his go to systems and always has been, so I'd get used to it. Obviously the team looks much much better with Tielemans in midfield as we then have someone capable of passing the ball in there alongside a more conventional ball winner. It's more what I expect to see rather than what I want to see.

Chucked a tenner at that last time we beat them thinking it was the worst bet of all time. This weekend might succeed that
