I'm going to captain Haaland which means he'll do feck all against us. You can all thank me on Saturday night.

Also haven't won a single bet all season so might have a bet on a Man C win.

I think everyone will captain Haaland at the weekend mate 😂

So, if we lose 4-0 at Man City, does that mean we’re only just a bit worse than Bayern ?
I’m sure that’s how it works.

Negative foxestalk again. Lose 2 - 0 and we’re better than bayern.

Oh 100%, I was more referring to the fact that most weeks this season, whoever I've chosen as captain hasn't done much.

I dont think it really matters tbh. They're back on for the title really. He isn't resting against us.

Oh l think he will..he'll rest Haaland, Mahrez, Grealish, De Bruyne and Silva...after 25 mins when we're 5-0 down..☹️

Them winning 3-0 is bad. Worst outcome. Means they won't rest anybody here and they're still on a high. They look ominously good. What a shame this is their opener rather than Bournemouth at home. I just hope we make it a bit more difficult and we give them some problems to think about.

I don't want it to happen but they are winning the treble this season. We could in theory make it harder than Bayern did by playing some proper shithouse Burnley brexitball and keep the score to just 2-0

I'd be on board with this if Burnley didn't lose there 5-0 every year lol

So much negativity, I think they will struggle to get up for lil ol Leicester after beating the mighty Bayern Munich convincingly. Even if we do lose, it will only be by a goal or two.

I dont think they'll score that many. At worst, I think they'll get 2 and see the game out. Man city play in a way that they can play their best team and not expend too much energy if they don't want to. It'll be boring mind.

They were truly exceptional yesterday against Bayern, but that game would have been draining for them and hopefully there is some form of hangover at the weekend.

Either that or they're more motivated, which would be curtains for us.

Just play the right way, show some aggression/energy with the right players and use is a bridge to the rest of the season.

if we get anything out the game I’ll be delighted but with Arsenal dropping points, this is very much a must win game for them.

perhaps Mahrez will score 3 own goals for us

Man City were brilliant from the highlights I watched, but the Bayern defending is as bad as we've been recently, especially the 2nd goal. Hopefully Iverson doesn't have half as many saves to make as Sommer, who was also brilliant.

I think we just need to be realistic and make sure we don’t lose the positivity that has started to grow this week - iv seen multiple people say let’s not right this one off let’s have a right go - unfortunately this one is 100% a right off - Man City are elite - they can make 5 changes to last nights team and it will still be 3 or 4 at best - all I realistically want to see in this game is us look up for it - see a change in attitude no matter what the score - set the bar for the 3 games after and whatever happens score line wise don’t let it finish our season and lose that small bit of positivity we have right now

Blue moon seems to think they would start as strong as possible and then make changes once the game is won

If that was their way of thinking then we’d probably be best parking the bus and trying to keep them out for an hour.  But Pep may go in the opposite direction and have all his heavyweights on the bench

Oh and chuck evans, soyuncu, kdh and tielemans back in the team - see how long they last

What no Vesty and Bertrand? Both a shoe in to score.
