Does Soumare actually try in training but not in matches? He's the most laid back footballer I've ever seen, hardly sets the tone for a must win game ffs

No i'd play Mendy over Soumare based on his form at Leicester, but in terms of ability when on form, Soumare is a far better footballer than Mendy is. We just haven't seen anything from him, I'm not sure if it's been down to style or tactics or what. But basically all of his statistics have fallen off a cliff since joining us. I still think there is a good player in there. Mendy would have been the safe choice.

Each to their own and all that, and I don't want to tell you how to support your club any more than I'd want you to tell me, but I'm struggling to see the point of following a club with such a relentlessly negative attitude.

If you can't have some hope going into a match, why bother??
