My feeling is that the mindset of the players are way off right now.  They are such a fragile bunch.  My hope was that JT would come in as a guy who has played - and won - at the very top of the game, and set some minimum standards in attitude, fight and effort.  If he can't do it, then the situation is worse than I thought.  We simply have too many players who are too comfortable and not enough leaders.

We have to remember that the defenders at our club are elite footballers, some are experienced internationals - make no mistake, they understand the game and should be tactically aware at all times in a game.  They really shouldn't need someone to come in and get them back to basics.  Some fine tuning perhaps, but they aren't signed as bad players.  I can forgive the odd technical slip up every now and again, but this lot, at times, look like they've never seen a football before.  Their ability has been coached out of them.

I blame Brendan "I want to be everybody's best mate and if you aren't in my cool gang then fck off" Rodgers for instilling the mindset in this group

Did you see Wout Faes play today? He’d have struggled in League One.

Not a good look is it really all those pics around London and then putting in a performance like that, I know he's not playing but he opens himself up to stick doesn't he!

Can't really blame Terry too much, the ship was wrecked long before he arrived at the club!

Done a 15km, done more miles than our 11 combined todaylol

All our Belgians have had too many Pralines..

Tielemans couldn’t run to the shops for his mam

Castagna carry’s his name on a string..

Praet only turns up on his choosing..

That said not one ,not two could we rely on to carry us through the bad times.

The team imploded awhile back, 3 Amigos came far too late.

Maybe 8 weeks earlier we had a chance

The Leicester city Midfield ,well even Stanley wouldn’t have started an expedition.

Rodgers lost them,or better said gave up on them…promised & took away.

JT getting paid thousands and then goes sight seeing in the middle of a relegation dog fight,

sums up his character

Sight seeing? He was up at 6am this morning out for a run 😂

I don’t reckon we should be giving Terry Pelters,no sarcastic jabs have any base,it was too ****ed before he came…Any individual defensive lapses came from the midfield & a DM well off form..

I do believe Mendy would have added more of a rod,but he wouldn’t have saved us alone, just like Soyuncu,Souttar can’t be expected to…

I don't think anyone was expecting Terry to sort things out as such but... I think we've become worse defensively game by games since the arrival. And that's despite being able to play Cags.

How is Souttar not playing ? Replace either of the headless chickens and get some composure

...I think a clear-the-air meeting is required by the players without the manager and his staff being involved!!!

There was a poster that posted that the players were not getting along, and we all need to be pulling in the same direction. Pearson did that a few times, sometimes a true and frank conversation is what you need.

Perhaps the team has become fractured due to pro and anti-Rodgers factions, we cannot afford another performance such as this one, but you do feel that something is very wrong in this group.

Our fan base is amazing. Who on earth could sort this out this late in the season?

Reading the forums tonight has really shown me how delightful our fans are.

Smith probably took the job on the condition he could bring Terry. Don't see what JT has to offer at all.

We probably didn't want JT but couldn't risk being turned down by Marsch and Smith.

Probably didn't want JT? What makes you think that?

No idea how you have come up with that? What's your  logic there?
