He’ll be at Forest next season if they stay up and we don’t.

No chance Forest afford him and he’ll have offers/have his sights on bigger and better clubs.

Gyokeres is NOT a realistic signing. Defo in the Prem next season with either Wolves or Coventry (mebee Sheff U, or possibly Middlesborough if they make it). Chaplin would be good but unlikely to fancy a move to LCFC.

Brentford think they’re in pole position

Forest spent similar money on Gibbs-White last summer. They are sniffing round Barnes already but so are Villa.

There is no way on God's earth that any of our better players go to Forest.

If they somehow do stay up this year they're going next.

Barnes could go to a good 70% of teams in the league.

Anyone have any decent incite into who could step up from the development squad and play next year ? Obviously Sammy and Will made debuts before both succumbing to the Seagrave curse. But when they're back could they make the permanent step into the 11 ? I hear and see good things about Maswanhise, but can he make the jump ?

There's a few in there and if they can't make the 25 man squad for the Championship you have to wonder why they were still with us.

The wages a lot of our players are on plus the fact they’ve been relegated is going to put a lot of prospective buyers off. We’re not going to sell the relatively unproven Faes, Kristiansen, Soumare and Daka off on the cheap.

90% of European top flight sides can’t match their wages and very few that could, would.

LW

Vardy/Daka

RW

KDH

Soumare

CM

Kristiansen

Souttar

Faes

Ricardo/Justin

Iversen

A few of those would want moves but sorry you’re in contract and you got relegated, tough.

So you did! Apologies!

Jeez - I cant even read properly now!

I'll blame Rodgers for that - The Gucci Goblin is the root cause of most of the worlds' problems.

I don't think Faes will want to jeopardise his place in the Belgian national team with the Euros coming up by playing in the Championship. I think he'll go, even if it's only a loan.

Shouldn’t have gone for a hat trick against Liverpool then. He either plays or someone signs him for decent money. He’s on a long contract and definitely has a wage reduction for relegation, we hold the cards here.

The squad is a mess

                        Iversen

Justin   Souttar     Faes   Kristiansen

    Choudhury   Soumare   KDH

Pereira      Iheanacho    Daka

As mentioned, the first game of the season is before deadline day, so I would expect some to still be here who will leave later. We need Barnes and Maddison to leave early so we will know the budget available to bring in more players.

Will Nacho be here? He's got one year left on his contract, so unless he signs an extension this summer, we need to sell him. Why would he extend, when he's clearly good enough for the prem and always been undervalued here and there's no knowing how long we're stuck in the 2nd division?

That was what I meant in my last sentence. I would expect a lot to leave nearer the end of the window

                    Iversen

Ric/Justin  Souttar Faes VK/Thomas

                    Hamza

             Marc Mendy KDH

                 Daka Vardy

Hamza drops back with Souttar and Faes and the wing backs bomb forward, and out number the opposition in midfield.

Bed in Nelson for Faes. Use Braybrooke and Alves for Mendy and Marc when they're back from injury. See if Hirst is any good up front. Give Wanya some minutes in midfield. And give Wormleighton some time too.

Help the finances by selling Faes, VK, Ric or Justin should we stay down (and they stay injury free), or perhaps at xmas if we must.

I'd look forward to seeing that lineup in the Championship honestly.

Feel bad for Vardy though. He deserves better, even at his age.

Agree.

You'd be poorly advised to leave us for any of the three promoted clubs, Forest, Everton, Wolves, Bournemouth etc. You could easily be embroiled in a relegation battle and watching your former club twat half the teams in the Championship having burned your bridges.
