With our impending fate and doom becoming a reality, I thought i'd bring some light-hearted fun to the heartbreak. 

 

Who do you think will be in our starting 11 for the first game of the Championship season? We're including transfers here, get creative people. Feel free to change your formations. I've gone full Mike Bassett. Oh and pick a manager too! Feel free to also add subs!

 

GK: Iversen

LB: Kristiansen

CB: Faes

CB: Souttar

RB: Max Aarons (Norwich transfer in)

 

LW: Piroe (Swansea transfer in)

CM: Dewsbury Hall

CM: Mendy (Offered new deal) 

RW: Michael Antonio (crazy one - West Ham transfer in)

 

ST: Gyokeres (Coventry transfer in)

ST: Daka 

 

Manager: Nigel 'Are you an Ostrich' Pearson

 

Was toying with the idea of Drinkwater on a pay as you play.

Most important signing for me is that CM. Needs to be an absolute shithouse/leader 

Praying that Soutar/Faes may not be that bad in the Championship! Justin/Ricardo will be great. 

Daka/Iheanacho partnership could score a ton IMO but I accept some have big doubts on Daka. 

 

Needing 2 top wingers is a mess! But, hopefully we uncover a couple of gems.

Genuinely, if it's possible, this is what I'd keep for next season. All the rest sell to the highest bidders and start again.  Some of the ones below I'd keep based purely on I can't imagine their wages are too high.

Defenders

Souttar

 

Midfielders

Mendy

Dewsbury Hall

 

Strikers

None

 

 

Get rid of literally everyone else.
