In recognition of the worst of everything this season we should be giving out Danny A Wards instead. First in each category picks up a gold plated statuette of our former number one in full star jump mode

And then drops it.

Let's have our own. Questions with my vote

1. For the worst signing over the last season

Tete

2. The most frustrating player

Barnes

3. The one that turned from goldust to shite

Ndidi

4. The least footballing intelligence

Barnes

5. Brendan Rogers favourite

Amartey

6. Had the potential but has flopped massively

Tete

7. Most over hyped

KDH

8. Worst overall player to blame for potential relegation

Amartey / Ward (can't decide)

9. Person to blame for potential relegation

Brendan Rogers

Rodger’s turned into absolute horse piss but I don’t get how people solely blame him when if he was sacked when he should or been we wouldn’t be in this mess, it’s the board and owners fault

Rodgers for being totally inept?

Actually he's played a blinder. Picks rubbish formation and tactics and mind boggling bad / deliberate ridiculous substitutions in an attempt to get sacked. Gets sacked. Gets massive payout. Blames everyone else. Media still think he's great. Walks into a job somewhere warm next season. Rinse and repeat. Should be sued for some of his behaviour with no payout.

At least they recognize the optics of such an event in the circumstances.

The relegation clauses is a surprising development as I was worried about us being saddled with expensive, useless players we can't flog.

Look at the bit about recruitment though - signing Villa's kids on loan - our downfall is a disgrace.

And the final award is for 'C*nt of the year'. Now, this year we had a record number of nominations, and the judging panel really had their work cut out for them after quite a special season.

...very much so, an attempt to release Barnes on a counter, it was on, all he had to do was make a 10 yard layoff at the edge if our box, he played it to Bertrand (Villa) who executed a first time shot that curved around our keeper, into the far corner. Unfortunately still etched into my mind!!!

Just like at spurs early season, we had got back to 2-2 then seconds into the second half he gave it to bentancur who scored and they went on to win 6-2. Absolute liability with the ball.

Situation must be serious if they're now cancelling the awards dinner.  Yikes!

...let us hope reality has come in and this is a precursor to the changes that we need!!!

We do not want this to be the only sensible decision that is taken, between now and the start of next season.

I can't think, given our season, that an Awards Night would even be considered let alone it's cancellation.

We'll be getting a parachute payment, reward for failure, be happy with that.

Macquary will be getting that.

We have taken out a loan against collateral (the payment of Premier League money) for the final position in the league. We would be paying this sum back over time, not in one lump sum. Just as you would take out a loan against equity in your house, the bank will not be asking for the money back in the next few months. We can use that money any way we choose, we just need to make the monthly payments on time.

A massive field to choose from and unfair to isolate one .... could you not buy a few more awards to make it fair .... is there a term for a team of c*nts

The collective noun for c**t is shower, which feels appropriate.

I'd feel pretty fair isolating Fofana in this category myself.

If you were a bank looking at our write offs over the last 3 years based on Prem money and then factoring in our wage bill and less income would you be happy to accept the cash in small instalments?

Id be asking for it when we have sold Maddison and Barnes personally but maybe that’s naive.

A 50% wage cut for relegation is common practice in the prem

Players are given the chance to renegotiate contracts in the summer if the club feels like they are worth more than that

... banks make money by issuing loans, being known as a bank that does not honour its agreement means that prospective borrowers will look to go elsewhere!!!

A contract would have been agreed upon for the loan to be paid in a certain timeline, they (the bank) would have to have good reason to trigger an instant repayment clause.
