For me conceding the 2 later goals against Brentford in the first game when coasting was such a disappointment it set the tone for what was to follow.

It started at least 12 months before that.

Poor recuitment in the summer if 21/22 and the keeping players who would'nt sign a new contract.

Complacency that we didn't need to strengthen this summer follow by sell our best keeper and CB.

Poor January window.

Followed by a lack of ruthlessness and then no plan B once they did act.

Losing Schmeichel and Evans injured most of the season. Poor recruitment and lacking leadership. Tielemans captain tells you everything especially with how he has played. No consistency in the back 4. Basically leaked too many goals.

Top left it too late to get rid of Rodgers. It's fairly simple to work out. We were abysmal under Brendan and consistently too!

Today we played great but it was too little too late.

We needed 3 points against Newcastle yet Smith played for 1. He took a massive gamble and it has back fired.

I feel sorry for Smith, Shakespeare and Terry as they had a mountain to climb when they came in but throughout the season whether it was  Top, Rodgers or now Smith they have all made terrible decisions!

I look at todays performance and think who cares about Rogers we know what he is. I'd like either Smith, Duff, Mc Kenna or Mark Robins to continue from here.
