Ridiculous false equivalence. At the time of Zinchenko posting that, Israel had not started retaliating, they’d just been the victim of the most violent terrorist attack in their country’s history. I really wonder why footballers don’t just stay off social media. Hamza was unfairly targeted a few years back for tweets he’d made when he was 15, there’s nothing to be gained by having a presence on there.

If he had written 'I stand with Palestine' and put the flag up there would be no issue.

There might have been less of an issue for Hamza if he'd done that too.

I'm guessing this is completed droughts when the team has won the premier league? Likes of Newcastle and Spurs would be far longer than either of the two.

What's everyone's thoughts on this?

Outrageous in my opinion.

It's the blokes birthday, he'd planned a party.

It in no way, shape or form impacted his work, so why shouldn't he celebrate something personal?

Got a whiff of the last days of Mourinho about Ten Hag. Finding any excuse to deflect from him

Don't see the issue with it. Why can't a footballer celebrate his birthday ffs.

Don't get why it's 'unacceptable'. Doubt there'd be as much uproar had they won. Just another way to hate on a player.

If 6 months ago you’d have said Jonny Evans would be starting for United while Rafa Varane is on the bench you’d have been taken away by men in white coats.

It's none of Ten Hag's business

FFS, I hate VAR, do we really want goals ruled out for offsides as close as this?

Its taken almost 5 minutes already.

Another example of massively poor use of technology.

If you need your little pal to come and have a chat about the decision then just leave it.

For what its worth i thought it was offside after the first replay.

No idea why it takes 4 minutes to come to a decision, abaolute shambles.

Loud chants of

**** var

I don't disagree

Agree.

**** VAR. But I’ll always enjoy Man Utd getting shafted by it. Fergie time payback, perhaps.

Why did that take so long? Maguire was offside and undoubtedly interfering with play.

Can imagine it wouldn't have taken so long had it been Fulham :D
