cruzFOX Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 Forest are safe it’s just a technicality. Be interesting to see if Kompany & Burnley dominate the championship again along with Luton.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 What's the lowest ever combined points the bottom three have ever accrued? These three sets of nobheads are surely down there. 1
Foxy_jim Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 Forest currently celebrating like they've won the prem because they're staying uo with 29 points with only 3 of the poorest teams in prem history below them. Embarrassing. 2
Matt Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 Let's just hope we learn from Burnley. Ideologies and philosophies will not keep you up, it's fine having a preferred way of playing but if it's not working adapt, get the best out of what you have. 4
cruzFOX Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 With our situation there is no telling what’s in store for us in the premier league. I seriously hope we aren’t spending all season hanging on by our finger nails. A good plan to play thru the points deduction period is needed. Playing well and forming a siege mentality. Once the reset kicks in we go like hell for leather. Does it make any sense to play the big boys first when there’s no impact or does goal difference tally up. It’s a bit of a weird unique situation for the premier league
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 For Forest to survive again next term they’ll have to get better than Chris Wood as their main front man. He’ll play really well on occasion, but generally he’s not good enough consistently. Misses too many chances
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 The thought of fookin Var next season again fills me with dread. Not being able to celebrate a goal because a player might be offside by the width of a pubic hair can’t be a good thing for any sport

Going to be a tough season for them.

It’s a bit of a weird unique situation for the premier league Tbh I think we will be hanging on like Luton and Florst and will be a miracle if we stay up with a points deduction right at start of season I'm already receiving totally unnecessary pelters from forest fans as soon as the Luton result came in. willy pullers simple as. Hate em all with that smug.look on their face tapping the premier league badge yet again Thing is they think they have done well by hanging on and scraping through by the skin of the teeth yet again. Sunbury Fox Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 This season's bottom 3 have comfortably the fewest points between them of any bottom 3 since the PL was established. A combined total of just 66 points is shockingly bad.

The European Super League will happen in the end I think

copunk Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 Interesting Alan Smith said Forests FFP and PSR issue seems to be a very well calculated risk, yet we are getting pelters from every man and his dog calling us the worst cheats in the game 🤣 1
Bilo Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 The fact that a team as egregiously poor as Forest are safe with a points deduction is actually good news for us next season, surely? Everton as well. There will be some absolute dross at the bottom of the Premier League next season and we probably only need to finish second out of ourselves, Ipswich, Forest, Everton, Brentford and whoever comes up via the playoffs.

Absolutely biblical luck. We're getting the worst punishment of all given we aren't going to have the Luton, Burnley and Sheff Utd safety net. In fairness, I suspect Forest, Brentford, Everton, Ipswich and whoever comes up via the playoffs will be similarly cack next season.

Unabomber Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 I wanted Luton to stay up but now thinking about it them sheff u and Burnley are an absolute joke and offer nothing to the prem. I’m glad they’re all going down and hopefully they stay down. Sheffield united are the biggest joke, how did they even go up. At least Leicester are a premier league club and are back where we belong, we don’t need these random shite teams here for a 1 season jolly.
