reporterpenguin Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 The sort of game that makes you think there is a genuine possibility the refs are in the pocket of the big teams
fox_favourite Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 He was fouled?! My word this shows corruption

whoareyaaa Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 I thought if contact carries on inside then its a peno
CheeseHead Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 Surely it wasn't clearly and obviously outside, so stick to the original decision? 1
Blue ROI Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 At times like this you would advise youngsters to take up something like Running instead.

Vacamion Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 My natural inclination is to attribute poor decisions to incompetence rather than corruption or bias, but games like this test me. 4
Unabomber Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 That last penalty was in the box why did var rule it out? Only had it on in the background.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 (edited) Man U getting dodgy decisions nothing new. Unless it is clear and obvious I don’t see how the on field decision was overruled Edited 13 April 2024 by foxes_rule1978
StanSP Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 I've just seen the penalty given against Bournemouth. Is it me or does his arm go back into his body? If so, how is it give? I can almost understand the ref giving it in real time because of the speed of it all and how the defender turns his body. But VAR officials need to be seeing that his arm isn't even out of his natural silhouette (whatever the fvck that is ) Bizarre.

I think it has to be limited bias, intended to keep the order of things (we can't have another Leicester City). Officials make several questionable decisions during a match that add up to give a tangible advantage to the greedy 6 team but it's still down to the team to score the goals. 5

I thought Trafford was doing okay considering his inexperience. They're the kind of moments where you just know it's not your time. 1
