I wonder if the Aussies think the A-League is the greatest league in the world after the newcastle match...the yanks used to when they beat a Premier League club, and they never destroyed them like the A league allstar team did.

Next season is going to be ****ing wild.

Leicester can't afford to spend, might have to sell, getting a points deduction. Might lose manager.

Everton probably can't afford to spend.

Forest have to sell, might get a points deduction.

Ipswich unlikely to heavily reinforce, still have a lot of League One squad, almost certainly losing their manager to someone.

Brentford in decline, another that might lose their manager.

And if Leeds come up, I feel like Leeds are flying under the radar a bit at the moment but they spent quite a lot in the process of getting relegated and there's already talk that they're in huge trouble if not promoted. That's not magically going to go away if they win the play offs. I doubt they'll be spending huge either and may be tempted to cash in on the likes of Rutter and Summerville.

Seriously it's gonna be mad.

The gap between the bottom 6 and the top clubs is going to be bigger than ever next season - Ross County compared to Celtic big. Not a good look for the so called best league in the world.

strong words from the wolves supporters groups.

What's your views on this @The Bear

It's disgraceful quite frankly. We're the only PL club to raise prices every year since 2018. They've come out with the bullshit that they are benchmarking it against other clubs our size, yet we're the 4th most expensive in the league and the most expensive outside of London. They're full of shit and it's really upset people this time. They thought they could get away with it again but a rise of 17% is too much for people to bear. There are families out there who can't afford to go any more when it's the only regular time they get to see each other. Same with groups of mates, and it's heartbreaking to see pure greed breaking up traditions built over years or even generations.

What makes it worse is it's all for an extra £3m roughly, which is neither here nor there in terms of revenue, and immediately after all PL clubs got an unexpected £5m they never budgeted for thanks to the shared parachute payments.

Jeff Shi, the Chairman and face of the owners Fosun in Wolverhampton has gotten a ton of shit already and will get even more in the next few weeks. He also made some comments in the local paper along the lines of "if you want regular European games and fighting for trophies then maybe Wolves isn't the club for you". Imagine saying that to the supporter base! Utter ****.

I genuinely hope the renewal take up plummets this season. Who knows if it is a calculated move by the club to get more day trippers and match day tickets sold, as they generally spend more in the stadium and club shop. But you are dicing with danger alienating the core fan base who have been going for years.

A mate wrote this piece on it which hits the nail on the head:

Ineos offering every staff member at United, not a scout or playing staff voluntary redundancy

He seems to be getting rid of the non-playing staff before worrying about the footballing side.

No way this should pass. Would just bring a bigger gap in the league. Had we had this a few years ago, we wouldn't be in PSR issues

Suggested by Palace though would they not want a more even kneel?

Guess they are aiming for Europe themselves.

How can a club that had never been relegated from the Premier League, therefore at least getting the 17th most in prize money, be in this situation?

Just incredible.

Everton are really the jammiest in the league, barring Man City, financially.
