Leicester crowd are full of people who think that we have a divine right to win every game so there is literally zero support. Ipswich fans can't believe they are near top and fighting for promotion to premier league so the crowd are fully behind them. Our home form and games will be so important. Our crowd need to stop the cageyness and get behind them Yes. But our style is not conducive to getting out your chair and screaming with passion - effective as it is. Ipswich are more exciting. 1
AjcW Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 That last 15 minutes was phenomenal. Fair play to them hope they finish second 1

The last 10 minutes is not necessarily indicative of the whole game. they was, City will feel like they deserved at least a point from that, BC had a number of decent chances too So ipswich will feel like theyve got away with one today for sure Edited 5 March 2024 by FrankieADZ 2

It’s ****ing unreal Their desire and ability to keep pushing and not be tempted to play it safe is why they give themselves a chance. It's relentless football. I'm now unable to get too angry with them as this is how I'd want us to attempt to play when chasing a game but we wouldn't be able to apply this intensity. The automatic promotion race is going to be highly pressurised now, was essential we got over the line tonight and we should take huge confidence that we've been able to. But it counts for very little if we don't kick on now. 5

Missed a penalty but still scored, hit the post and Bristol never got near their goal in the last 10. We're going to have to be very good in the run in, to see the 3 other teams off. 2

Bristol city hit the post, the ipswich pulled off a worldie save it isnt all sunshine and rainbows there, their defence is probably the weakest in the top 4 imo Weakest defence in the top 4, but only lost 4 games, and are still only 3 points behind us. 1
Finnegan Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 How many games have Ipswich won in the last minute or injury time this year!?

Stevosevic Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 Ipswich and Leeds play before us this weekend. Could apply more pressure.

Gerard Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 I have to remind myself we won away from home tonight, that Ipswich comeback is so deflating that it feels like we conceded a last minute equaliser. 1
FoxOnWheels Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 Looking at Leeds last 10 games there not as easy as I thought they were

Fear Of The Fox Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 Ipswich don't do anything special. They just play the ball forward and send it several times into the box knowing they don't have to deal with 4-5 Paolo Maldinis. This is why they have scored a lot of goals either OGs or deflections. When Enzo and our players were fairly criticised for playing backwards and sideways when we have acres of space to move the ball forward quickly, he got angry lecturing us.

The main positive is the pressure on saints....lose or draw tomorrow and they are toast to us. 7pm tonight it was any two from four. By 10pm tomorrow it could be two from three

If they were psychologically suspect, the penalty miss would have done for them (same goes for their fans). I hope our win tonight will have given us a bit of a boost and we can start winning with confidence again . I still believe we are the best team in this division, but sometimes it looks like the players aren't so sure.
moore_94 Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 Surprised Ipswich have still only scored 1 more goal than we have this season
Tuna Posted 5 March 2024 Posted 5 March 2024 3 maybe 4 teams on 90+ points this season, has it happened before?
Popular Post goose2010 Posted 5 March 2024 Popular Post Posted 5 March 2024 Hate to say it but we need Cov to keep winning. They play a massive part in the promotion race, they still have to play Southampton, Leeds and Ipswich. 7
