Only watched since just before Saints scored their 2nd, but this Ipswich performance reminds me of how they played against us, quite poor.

Thats why most of this forum think they’re utter shite

If it stays like this then we’re in a very handy position again after we all collectively crapped the bed. Especially with Ipswich’s run in.

Being a Leicester fan always means lots of change in pants.

Bazunu is a worse shot stopper than Danny Ward, printing money bet o. 2.5 goals.

Worst xG in the league, didn't he also have an xG twice as bad as Ward's last season? Guaranteed goals, not sure why they persist with him.

Like when we won the prem, what they do well is score goals. Most goals per match 2nd highest shots ON target. They’re more clinical. Get shots on target and what do you know, some go in.

We’ve missed most big chances. If we’d been even a little more clinical we’d definitely of achieved a record haul. They’re kinda average elsewhere but do what matters the most, score.

Yes true but i do suppose its better to create the chances and miss than not hardly create any chances at all.The difference between us and them they fight and like you say have a shot from anywhere watching this game they look rubbish but you just no with 5 minutes to go they will score some how!

Surely must have been directed at the ref/lino? They seem to think the Adams goal was offside.

yeah think it was, they feel hard done by, even tho for the most part the ref has got stuff right, minus the morsy foul on downes which should have been another yellow, but surely his next is a sending off

I thought it was for this reason. The ref hasn't been going in their favour. EFL refs seem to favour an underdog.

Only be 9 points left to play for by the time we play them, like to think they will lose a couple of games, they have some tough fixtures.

Saints are at Leeds last game….somebody is dropping points……

Saints look good but they have 8 games in 27 days I’ve read somewhere? Assuming that will play a big effect on the fitness.

They have our game in hand and the Preston game after the fire near the ground:

Ipswich have been very good at putting the rest of the league away. They got pumped by Leeds, they looked poor against us until we kacked it and Southampton look miles better than them in this game.

Worst in the league last season as well. We were the only side who didn't score against them last season, that tells its own story of how poor we were.

Because his distribution is decent. Makes it even more important that we got Hermansen in early for this system, to have a keeper who can play the ball and stop shots
