I think they'll give it a few days to decide. His term has finished so it'll be a case to see if we extend.

I really hope we don’t keep him and his team on. Nothing against the guy, he was brought in to do a job and didn’t succeed.

He said yesterday he’d meet with Top in the next few days. I’m assuming his contract runs until June 1st. It’ll then be reviewed.

Would be a complete mistake to keep him IMO.

Unless they have already planned a successor then expect him to be given a rolling contract. 

 

Probably not the worse appointment but hardly inspiring when we all need a lift. It's his record at Norwich that is concerning.

Our so called best player scoring that penalty might have helped as well.

 

As for keeping him - there are more riskier appointments… but I’m not totally sold on him.

Not for me , I wasn’t expecting him to be a magician in the short time he had but I didn’t see any real improvements at all not even a so called new manager bounce

Well there's talk of the ladies moving to Seagrave when they sell Belvoir Drive, so we might never get rid of JT!

Don't get the dislike for him. He took the job when nobody else dared. 

 

His results weren't great but they weren't shit either. People seem to forget that he was brought in too late to make a real difference which was not his fault. 

 

Last 7 games under Smith: 9 points

Last 7 games under Bodgers: 1 point

 

Would have been lauded if Maddison bagged his pen against Everton or Castagne completed a smash and grab at Newcastle. He was also unlucky to lose Kelechi for a stint meaning we had to rely on Vardy and Daka who have had tragic seasons. 

 

There was a stint halfway through the first half yesterday where the team started sitting off and not pressing and he got stuck into them, you could visibly see the effect on the players as he wouldn't allow them to lose intensity. 

 

I think he's the right character to have in charge of the team for next season. We are not a Prem club anymore, we cannot be picky and we need strong leadership. We do not need another bollockless little twat like Brendan who only takes the job because he thinks it's a stepping stone to something greater.
