We've been relegated, are in a complete mess and only about four of the players who started on Sunday will still be here in August.

We aren't exactly getting Nagelsmann.

Wouldn't be against it.

He's a proper coach who will leave us in a much better position once he's gone. I'd be confident he would take us up.

I think he'd be amazing appointment but from his point of view there's probably better opportunities in the Premier league likely to become available. Especially if Tottenham get desperate

Yes but don't think he would want to come to us.

You say that, but it doesn't feel like there is a queue of premier league clubs knocking his door down.

Genuinely anyone who wants Rafa Benitez as manager needs to give their head a wobble. I’m aware it’s probably going to cause offence but he is shite.

He’s the best of the shite managers we can bring in at this level.

If he wanted a project, he'd be here now.  Didn't we speak to him when looking for a Brendan replacement?  He turned us down then, no way he comes to us in the Championship.

Yes-we need some glamour to re-in force the idea we are a big club in a small league-seriously-we need to look like a club that’s wondering where the hell it is

That’s honestly not true. I know there is a lot of doom and gloom around at the moment but we have a state of the art training ground and the squad we will have will be one of the most equipped in the Championship next season. As an example someone like Ruud Van Nistelerooy might look at what Vincent Kompany has done with Burnley and might quite fancy building his way up to a Premier League job. Managing in the Championship is a step up from the Eredivisie.

Wasn't he demanding an outrageous salary when we were searching for an interim? Getting a cheaper manager and investing the leftover into the playing squad would be a much better option.

What part of the 'young and hungry' requirement does this meet? Just the hungry part right?

Rafa looks extremely well fed to me and at a mere 63 is almost young enough to be Woy's son.

Just weird how there is much more interest in Rafa from fans now than there was after we had just binned Rodgers

Don't think Rafa would have kept us up, felt when we sacked BR we needed more of a motivator to come in.

Rafa isn't that he knows how to get a team defending and organized but he would need a full season.

I think he would perfect right now.

Sadly don't see him coming.
