He may be average but he will work all game and get himself into to tackles that's all you need from him, Roy Keane wasn't Amazing technically but he got the job done

I think that rodgers screwed him in all honesty. Like most of our squad, he dropped in form massively... I still think he has a lot more quality then weve seen.  

 

At Luton, he was the heart and soul of the team, he did everything. Youd never see a comment saying all he could do was run. He just had the confidence to play freely.  He never really got a chance to show that for us, might be a case of being in the shadow of more technical players and being instructed to just get the ball to them as quick as possible.  Whereas at Luton everything went through him. 

 

He's still at an age where he can improve and I think a solid year in the championship and we could be seeing a different player in the prem.

I'd certainly take the money off Everton if true. They've been wasting a lot of money recently.

 

He simply isn't good enough even if he is one of our own. Gets caught the wrong side of the Ball too often.

Lacks a physical presence,  Poor touch. etc.

The future is Soumare if we can improve his focus, Which he showed signs off in the run in playing on the left.

Then someone similar on the right which give us a real foothold in midfield, Something we've lacked for quite a while.

 

That's the future we should be aiming for. Otherwise it's going to be another long season.

We are not repeat not an elite club. KDH is plenty good enough for us now and is certainly going to get better.. Ask the Luton supporters about him and that was a couple of years ago. He will do a very good job for us next season. We are not in the market for top level players anymore and I can't see that changing anytime soon.

I have to disagree, We're the 17th wealthiest club in the word. Worth more than Newcastle. That makes us pretty elite.

If you think small that's all you'll ever be.

I've always seen us as a big club even in our darkest days when he had no money and in administration. 

 

Now on the football front they only way up is to keep improving the playing squad. Not easy I know but that's where the hard work comes into it. Couple that with the right Manager who knows what he's at and puts the pieces into place.

You have to get off your Ass go out there and find the next group of talent coming through. They can be found anywhere as we did with others  like Knockaert, Mahrez and Kante for instance. 

KDH has improved since coming into the team and will I hope get better. But this is his 3rd or 4th season at prem and Cham level.

Yet he hasn't learned how to control a game etc. as I've already stated. We need to aim higher in terms of quality.

We need players who can control the Ball and the game, While also stopping the opposition further from our goal.

 

I also question who is making these decisions with no Manager in place. A new Manger  may have a plan for him or may decide he's surplus to requirements.

The whole situation is crazy until we appoint a Manager, The right Manager is priceless as we've found out. 

That's the way forward. He may make a decent squad player if we don't give him a stupid contract like others.

If he wasn’t from Shepshed we would call it for how he is.. bang average.. he works tirelessly but has no quality on the ball, he can’t dribble, he only passes it to the left every time, if we do get a bid for him it might be worth considering as he rarely added anything but energy to the team.

...just wait until Braybrooke comes back from his injury!!!

  Playing in this league could be a godsend for him to shore up his skills.

  He can transition the play, he gets better as the game goes on, great passing awareness,  skillful and tenacious. His physicality was always my problem with him coming through, and I hope he can overcome this, just by being elusive in the middle.

 As a longshot, he could rival Nish for being one if our youngest skipper, he is that good.

The way Everton spend money, you never know
