Whilst I do agree regarding the one foot out the door remark, I don’t think it applies to Cags, he was bizarrely frozen out by Brendan and when he came back in under Smith, he was excellent.

Think that's a stretch, better then what we had yes, but not excellent.

If he’d have played more, like he should have done. We’d be a Premiership team still.

What little we did see of him, he was better than the rest of our other centre backs.

All the best to him, as the decision to not play him for 90% of the season, was bonkers. An out of form Soyuncu, was better than Amartey, what was left of Evans and the side show honking Bob.

If him, Iversen, Iheanacho and perhaps to a lesser extent Mendy hadn't spent the first half of the season locked in Rodgers' dungeon there is no doubt in my mind we'd have stayed up

We really needed him in the side throughout the season but tosspot Rodgers thought he knew best. Could have even made some cash from him but again another shite decision by Rodgers/the club.

Gutted.

When we needed him he developed a little injury so as not to ruin his move. Its his job, so he must protect himself, but some people think he was excellent and some kind of hero. I think he seemed to have an awful attitude the season before when rumours of a move came about. Youri mark 2

Treated scandalously by Rodgers and contributed massively toward our relegation this season.

Have to take it with a pinch of salt. There were rumours we'd managed to get him to sign a second contract here a couple of seasons ago, a photoshoot apparently took place in preparation for an announcement. He also gave an interview last summer where he outlined his commitment to the Club, despite at the time being dropped by Rodgers for what was understandably at the time underperformance and only having a year left on his deal.

Whatever happened with the second contract dissolving might've coincided with Rodgers reluctance to play him, yet there wasn't an issue with Tielemans?

A perplexing situation. Loss of a potential chunk of money, but we did get European football with him in the team and he won an FA Cup too.

Hope he does well with Atleti, as I doubt we'll be playing them again any time soon.

when your left on the bench and ahead of you is Amartey, you know your better of somewhere else. God only knows what Dodgers was thinking. Wasn't the greatest defender but got better from when he first arrived.

He decided long before that, this was rumoured before last season.

Genuinely gutted. One of not many players I hold in high regard after this season and he only made 9 appearances (7 league). Telling.

He'd already signed with another club but atleast he looked like he wanted to be here, unlike some, who simply didn't wanna be here.

He'll thrive at Atletico, playing to his strengths and playing effective football.

Gonna be a fascinating Leicester all star xi team playing first team football around Europe's top leagues next season.

Big Dan in Milan. Cags. Kasper in Nice. Youri. Madders. Barnes. Kels. Castagne. Faes. Soumare. Mendy. Perez. Possibly JJ and/or Ricky.

Absolutely staggering the more I think about it. One of the great, if not the greatest, of Premier League car crashes
