Get Vestergaard out. Cut price sale, loan deal whatever it takes.

Probably there are no takers and probably he doesn't want to go and why should he?

He came here with his family on certain understandings and certain wages for the length of a contract. If those understandings haven't been met, would you move job either for less money or uproot your young family again to go and work somewhere you didn't want to go?

If it was me I'd stay put for me and my family and say bollocks to what supporters think because they'd be a total irrelevance to me.

Any update on the injury? Don't get why its cloak and dagger.

It's not in the clubs interests to comment on the injury. What is gained by making an announcement?

Keeping the fans in the loop. Not sure what is lost by announcing the extent of his injury. It's hardly a secret that he's injured.

Because it may have an impact on any movement we're trying to make in the transfer market to fill the void.

If teams think we're desperate, they'll increase their prices further.

It's like Arsenal currently. Now that Jesus is injured, again, clubs being approched by Arsenal for their strikers, will increase their prices as they know Arsenal are now desperate. Same will apply to us, just on a smaller scale.

Do you really think that selling clubs won't already be aware?

It's most probably a muscle tear so you'd imagine 4 to 6 weeks since the injury which will mean he'll be available mid to late August?

Thought it was a foot injury? So likely bruising or bone injury.

I know when people say "we need more communication from the club" they're anxious and what they really want is reassurance but you have to look at it another way.

If he's hurt badly, we can't really afford to publicise that fact. We'll need to replace him and a difficult window gets even harder when people know you've got a weakness to exploit.

This is how we ended up with Jannik fvcking Vestergaard for £15m in the first place.

Or, we’ve got a £15m Vestergaard as an instant replacement. Yey. Problem solved.

You’ll hear something when there is a press conference and a question is asked.

you might be right, thought it was his calf.

Yes it was his foot. He played on for a bit which is odd. Possible metatarsal fracture?

The defender went down early with a knock to his right foot in the early stages of the game. He then was able to play on before leaving the pitch with the problem in the second period.

I bet it's a metatarsal. 4-6 weeks out

I genuinely don't know. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but still sand by my statement of 'what has the club got to gain, by being so eager to tell everyone the full details and extent of the injury' - Just let the news come out at an appropriate pre-match presser

We are going to be desperate if we are shopping around to buy a CB to replace the one we've just brought.

Seriously. The amount of times I’ve seen people on social media moaning about the fact that the club hasn’t put out a statement on Coady’s injury when that literally never happens…

...that information usually comes from the manager in his press conference!!!

The clamour for news regarding the player's injury, is symptomatic of the lack of communication by the club in general.

You would hope they would be looking to address this matter.

...any club that we knock on their door looking for a CB, will know where we are with Coady!!!

We may believe we are being prudent, but it is not going to take a genius to realise what is going on.

We still have Doyle, Faes, Souttar, Vestergaard.... Justin,Ndidi & Castagna can all play there so don't think wed be panic buying.

I was really hoping we wouldnt have to see vestegaard (or even Faes) play a competitive game for us again.

If he is out for 6 weeks , it's really bad luck and bad news,  but I'm not sure the club Will spunk up big cash on a defender unless CC  is out long term? We've just bought 2 quality defenders in so would need to move on vesterguard otherwise we would be overloaded

we have t to try to balance the books already being the biggest spenders in the league, If it is 6 / 8 weeks I suspect they will try to carry on with what we have

Don't get me wrong. I'm well aware that's not ideal !

Calem doyle, Wout Faes,Harry Souttar for me , vesterguard as cover
