Without Coady starting for 1-3 games.

Will make it interesting..If the back line especially selected CBs, where we have decent cover start more than well and

If  Faes Souttar have dream starts,or take another paring & ditto...where & when does Coady ( any other CB) fit in,Academy player would this season,be willing to float around the first team..Coady/Doyle will want when fit ...game time..Interesting scenario..

Any name in central defence has that chance to play Enzoball..Ndidi can again make that given role his.

But until we K.O and play competitive championship football & collect a few games experience it's all conjecture..

There are no cloak and daggers. What are you expecting the club to say, exactly?

"Connor Coady has got a ............ injury and we expect him to be back by ............".

The same as any other club would announce/report their injuries to their supporters.

Can you cite a single example of a club making an official announcement anout a player’s injury outside of a manager responding to a question in a press conference?

I'm not sure if you're joking or not?

1. You surely know that tweets announcing a player's injury are relatively common when an important player is injured. Fairly certain that Leicester City's twitter account announced that Ricardo had broken his leg from the Liverpool game for instance.

2. Maresca has been a part of multiple press conferences in Thailand and Singapore.

3. Do you actually expect me to traverse the internet to try and find some sort of official announcement or something? We all know it happens. We've all seen it happen.

I’m not joking. It’s rare. We’ve had loads of injuries in recent years and the only way we have typically received updates on them has been via manager press conferences. Our club very seldom makes announcements on injuries any other way. Saying “We all know it happens” is not evidence, by the way.

This is what I'm complaining about. Keep up.

Quote from Tanners latest article saying it’s unlikely to be long term beyond first game - not a clue if he actually knows or not

He's got better on Leicester recently and is fairly safe in what he writes - I took that as a promising development. But we'll know for sure soon!

The club never announces injuries on social media, they only announce them in pre-match press conferences

We haven't had one since we got the last update last week about waiting for a scan

We will find out today

Surely you of all people should already know?

Will be a good tester for us with Maresca I suppose. Will he be honest about timescales, or will he do a Rodgers and tell us that a player that's just had their leg amputated was 'out on the grass' and should be back in a couple of weeks.
