It’s worse than we thought, both legs have had to be amputated and reattached. Even worse news is they put them back the wrong way round. Good news is we have another left footed centreback to pick from

To be honest with you that's probably better than I thought.

In all seriousness  if Coady is I jured it's a massive blow.

We know from last season we have NO leaders on the pitch.

I know when people say "we need more communication from the club" they're anxious and what they really want is reassurance but you have to look at it another way.

If he's hurt badly, we can't really afford to publicise that fact. We'll need to replace him and a difficult window gets even harder when people know you've got a weakness to exploit.

This is how we ended up with Jannik fvcking Vestergaard for £15m in the first place.

There’s also not been any press conferences since the side returned.

Are people expecting us to put out a statement about an injury? lol

We live in a technologically connected world, we knew there was an issue straight away, at a game that was meant to be behind closed doors. Having this standard set in most aspects of lives does create a unwarranted sense of entitlement for some. But the club are right to keep this quiet, if as suspected it is a long term injury.

Just play Souttar. If we go and spend handsomely on another short term replacement then we've learnt nothing.

We've got CHs coming out our ears. Even if Faes is on his way, he's gonna be around til end of August.

Souttar, Faes, Doyle, Vestergaard backed up by JJ or at a push, Wilf. That's more than ample for this level

We have Souttar, Doyle, Vestergaard, Faes and even Justin, Kirstiansen and Castagne who can all play a role in a back 3.

I see no reason to go and buy another centre back because there are higher priorities.

I just want to know if the bloke many of us assumes will be our new captain is fit. I don't think that's too big of an ask as a supporter.

The last thing we need is to spend more money on yet another centre half, we've ample competent cover for the Championship. It's the leadership that's arguably the bigger worry and if Winks isn't of that ilk, then probably finding someone with it in an area of more concern like midfield might be a better investment.

Seriously. The amount of times I’ve seen people on social media moaning about the fact that the club hasn’t put out a statement on Coady’s injury when that literally never happens…

And Nelson. Hamza and Ndidi at a push currently too. Don't think it's an area we need go buy anyone else in unless he's out for a really long time.

Love this cloak and dagger stuff. Like if nothings said and we go in for another CB the selling club won’t think, ahh, so Coady is out for awhile. Foxes fans. 🤣
