Poor start but hopefully get the ball rolling 2 months in. Pre season has been a waste of time and recruitment poor.

Then pick up after Christmas to get on play offs.

Win the championship convincingly next season. 24-25

Stay up after a  late good run in the Premier league 25 -26

Then 26-27 season  Anything could  happen!

How anyone can confidently predict what we'll do this season is beyond me. Until the imbalance within the squad is sorted we remain very much a club who could struggle. Likewise, Maresca is finding his feet as a manager and a huge unknown.

 

I really hope we can start relatively well, but I'm reserving judgement until we get some midfielders and wingers in and a lot of players out the door.

Plymouth will win the league

Really surprised at how optimistic so many are about our chances next season. Personally I'd put us down for biggest underachievers unless we can get some quality attacking players in. Every single team will park the bus against us and I don't see how we have the attacking quality in our squad currently to deal with this week in week out. Really hope I'm wrong but I'd say Southampton are more likely to do better than us next season as things currently stand.
