Can't be many Championship teams that can attract a player from Ligue 1 who's pretty well established. His injury a year or so ago possibly has led to this as he was a bit less important to Montpellier last season but we must be paying him handsomely.

 

This is the sort of signing I'd expect a mid table PL side to make.

I think you could say that about all our signings this summer with regards to them being good enough for mid table prem sides

I’ve genuinely no idea what to think. And I’ve seen the vids. Dunno. Don’t care how articulate and upbeat he may or not be in an interview but just wanna see him play now and hopefully grow and deliver.

I'm actually glad they've taken the austerity route.  I mean, slaughtered for 'showing off' in thailand after being relegated (fair enough), but then condemned for not spunking wads of cash on a meaningless reveal video - I like it, it says 'down to earth', 'championship', 'FFP'.

How are you coping with you salary nightmares, these days - financial suicide or money well spent?

Sorry, been trapped in the Borneo rainforest with no lines of communication and avoiding the perils of hostile tribes, poisonous frogs and packs of bloodthirsty leapords for the past three weeks. This one came out of nowhere - is he any good?
