This is the sort of signing I'd expect a mid table PL side to make.

I agree with this, I think it's being quite underrated by many as a signing, Ligue 1 is a stronger league than the Championship and he was an absolutely steady player in it.

 

For all my bashing I think should we balance the squad properly in the next few weeks we will do this.

Does anyone know much about this lad? Interesting career path, not exactly lots of goals but says he's a striker - yet on twitter some of our fans are saying we have signed a winger? Is he a run in behind type? Dribbler? Genuinely know nothing so wondered if anyone had actually seen him play and where he likes to play from.
I thought the feedback from Enzo's interview was that the SLT were blown away by his prep and ideas, four strikers (yes i know we still have a few weeks to sell) but just the two wingers who we already had seems a bit bizarre. I know he comes from a school of teaching anyone to play anywhere but the squad just feels so imbalanced.

He’s a winger but can also play upfront if need be. Will be important going into the season for him to have the flexibility to play either side or up top next to a striker. Maybe he even plays up top alone occasionally
